Gaumant Vice CEO Christophe Riandee Exits Company

As someone who has always admired the resilience and adaptability of creative professionals, I find myself deeply moved by Christophe Riandee’s decision to pursue his personal projects. After an illustrious 20-year journey with Gaumont, spanning diverse realms from accountancy to animation, telecoms, and eventually leading the television arm, it is a testament to his courage and ambition that he chooses to embark on this new chapter.

Gaumont’s vice CEO Christophe Riandee has exited the company, it was confirmed today.

The “Becoming Karl Lagerfeld” producer announced that Christophe Riandee, who had been with the company for over 20 years and held the position of Vice CEO, is stepping down as of today. He will now focus on his personal endeavors. We wish him great success in all his future endeavors.

It’s clear that Riandee won’t be replaced right away. Instead, CEO Sidonie Dumas is going to manage all the tasks and projects that Riandee used to handle.

According to the representative, the team that was under Christophe Riandee’s supervision is now reporting directly to Sidonie Dumas.

Since 2003, Riandee has been a part of a French film and TV production company. Prior to this, he had a varied professional journey in fields such as accounting, animation, and telecommunications. In recent times, he managed Gaumont’s television division, reaching the post of Vice CEO last year. During his tenure, he guided projects like “Lupin,” “Barbarians,” and “Narcos: Mexico.”

Established in 1895, Gaumont – based in Paris – holds the title of the longest-standing film production company globally. Current chairman is Nicholas Seydoux.
