Perdue is making a popular internet phrase a reality by releasing a new, limited-edition food product specifically targeted at families with Gen Alpha children.
On April 16th, the company launched its new ‘Six Seven Chicken Nuggets’ – shaped like the numbers 6 and 7 and based on the popular “6-7” trend that originated on TikTok.
Starting May 1st, you’ll only be able to find these nuggets at Walmart locations across the country. They’ll cost around $7.24, and they won’t be available for long!
This new product is capitalizing on a popular meme that’s been everywhere lately – in schools, during commutes, and all over social media. More and more brands are joining the trend, as it continues to resonate with younger people.
Chicken nuggets shaped like “6” and “7” hit Walmart in May
Perdue says their chicken nuggets are made with 100% natural chicken raised without antibiotics. They’re coated in a panko breading to make them extra crispy, and are fully cooked – just heat and enjoy, like other Perdue frozen products.
To celebrate the launch, the company is hosting a giveaway! From April 16th to April 27th, you can enter online for a chance to win one of 67 free bags before the product is even available in stores. Winners will be chosen from entries on the official giveaway page.

Chris Perdue, who leads marketing, digital strategy, and e-commerce, acknowledged the trend in a recent announcement.
He explained that parents constantly hear certain phrases everywhere – during school runs, in class, and even at dinner. They realized that since kids were already bringing these phrases to the table, they might as well put them on the plate as a fun addition.
Starting May 1st, you’ll be able to find the product at approximately 3,000 Walmart stores nationwide, but only while supplies last.
Perdue isn’t the first company to offer deals targeting 6- and 7-year-olds with its new chicken nugget promotion. TGI Fridays started a similar club for kids in December, and Wendy’s and Domino’s have also run promotions geared towards this age group.
