A new companion series to Ghosts shows its fangs.
Okay, so I was really bummed to hear that season 6 of Ghosts isn’t coming until 2027! But it’s not all bad news. CBS said we’re getting two special hour-long episodes – one for Halloween and one for Christmas – to hold us over until the new season finally arrives next spring. Plus, it sounds like CBS still wants to have some fun with spooky comedies, so that’s good too!
I’m so excited! CBS just announced a new vampire comedy called Eternally Yours is coming in Fall 2026! They haven’t given us a specific date yet, but they did share a first look, and it’s hilarious! It features Ed Weeks, who I loved on The Mindy Project, and Allegra Edwards from Upload, and they both look amazing…and a little fanged! I can’t wait!
The picture shows three people inside a building. Two of them are wearing fake vampire teeth, and the third person looks worried. It gives a hint about the story, which involves a troubled vampire couple and a human who becomes part of their unusual world.
Eternally Yours tells the story of Charles and Liz, a vampire couple whose 500-year relationship has lost its spark. When their daughter introduces a human boyfriend, the couple, living in Seattle with their vampire community, are forced to confront whether their love can endure for eternity.
Created by the team behind the hit show Ghosts – Joe Port and Joe Wiseman – Eternally Yours is a single-camera comedy that, much like Ghosts, combines humor with supernatural elements. This time, the focus is on vampires, and CBS hopes it will appeal to fans of Ghosts and become another successful series.
