As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of glitches and bugs in games. However, the current predicament with Warped Echo in Risk of Rain 2 has left me a tad cautious, to say the least.
Players are flocking back to Risk of Rain 2 due to its current discount and the release of a new DLC, Seekers of the Storm, by Hopoo Games. Among the game’s updated features, there’s a new item called Warped Echo, but be cautious as it is best to avoid using it.
Avoid Warped Echo in Risk of Rain 2 (RoR2)
In theory, Warped Echo is designed to simply disperse incoming damage, making it an ideal addition for certain game strategies. However, it appears that not everything functions as planned. Using this item might lead you into a situation where you are stuck or unable to progress, often referred to as softlocking. Numerous players have reported experiencing a glitch that leaves them immune yet powerless against opponents and unable to use skills or items. In essence, it’s far from an enjoyable experience. The only consistent element in all the reports seems to be the new item – Warped Echo, so beware!
Since this issue seems quite significant and affects many users, we’re optimistic that it will get resolved shortly. Should you come across it, please inform the developers immediately. For now, it would be best to steer clear of Warped Echo until a fix is available.
