Jacksepticeye explains his surprise role on Bloodborne movie

So, I just heard from Jacksepticeye himself about what he’s doing with the new Bloodborne movie! He talked about why some fans might be a little shocked to see him involved, and it totally makes sense. He explained his role, and I’m actually really excited to see how it all comes together!

Sony revealed plans for an R-rated animated movie inspired by the 2015 action role-playing game at CinemaCon 2026. While specifics about the story and release date are scarce, popular online personality Jacksepticeye will be involved as a producer.

It surprised some people to learn how much he enjoys these games, but the YouTuber addressed concerns about his involvement in a new video.

Jacksepticeye vows to make Bloodborne movie “best it possibly can be”

Many of you might be surprised to learn I’m involved, but I want to clarify that I’m a producer on this project, not the writer or director. Details about the other people working on it will be released soon. As the producer, I’ll do everything I can to ensure it’s done well.

The upload also highlighted Jacksepticeye’s love for games made by FromSoftware, specifically mentioning Bloodborne as his all-time favorite.

He’s a huge fan of FromSoftware games, but Bloodborne is his absolute favorite. He’s so dedicated that he has a Hunter’s Mark tattoo and displays large statues of the Hunter and Eileen in his space. Even a small lamp representing the Messengers shows how much he loves the series. He says Bloodborne is what gets him excited to play video games every day.

I’m a huge fan of the original game, and the developer told me they’re going all-in on this project. They said they’re putting their heart and soul into it to make sure longtime Blood fans like me are really happy with how it turns out.

I’m completely dedicated to making this the best it can be, and I take this very seriously. I understand how incredible this opportunity is – truly, I do. I’m going to work incredibly hard to ensure its success.

This isn’t the first time the Irish actor has appeared in a film. He’s also an executive producer on the horror movie Godmother, and he made a quick appearance in Iron Lung, a film by Markiplier.
