Bradley Whitford Slams Cheryl Hines for Not Speaking Out After Her ‘Lunatic Husband’ RFK Jr. Endorsed Trump for President: ‘Way to Stay Silent’

As a long-time supporter and admirer of Bradley Whitford‘s work, I find myself deeply moved by his recent bold stance on social media. His unwavering commitment to justice and truth is truly inspiring. It takes a special kind of courage to speak out against injustice, especially when it comes from someone as close as a colleague or friend.

Bradley Whitford, known for his roles in “The West Wing” and “Get Out,” has spoken out on social media against Cheryl Hines due to her lack of comment regarding her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., endorsing Donald Trump for the upcoming presidential election. RFK Jr., who had previously considered running for president but withdrew his candidacy on August 23, has since expressed support for Trump instead.

“Hi Cheryl Hines, it’s impressive how you maintain your silence while your husband openly endorses a convicted rapist who boasts about undermining women’s basic freedoms,” wrote Whitford on X. “Brave move. A fine role model for the children. Display of courage.”

Hines commended her campaign team on social media following RFK Jr.’s withdrawal from the race. In her post, she lauded their achievements, stating that they had achieved what was considered unattainable. They managed to collect over a million signatures, more than any other candidate in history. Furthermore, despite encountering numerous obstacles and lawsuits aimed at preventing Bobby’s inclusion on ballots, they successfully gained access to ballots across the nation, ensuring voters had the chance to cast their votes for him.

The actress from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” concluded her statement with a general, non-partisan praise: “Over the past year and a half, I’ve encountered remarkable individuals across various political parties – Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. From what I’ve observed, most party members are genuinely good people who strive for the betterment of our nation and each other.”

Hines’ refusal to criticize her husband for supporting Trump generated controversy, which Whitford called out in his post. RFK Jr.’s own extended family, meanwhile, called him out for the Trump endorsement.

“Kerry Kennedy, along with her three siblings, expressed their desire for an America full of optimism and united through a common dream of a more promising tomorrow. They stand behind Harris and Walz. However, the choice of our brother Bobby to endorse Trump today is seen as a breach of the values that our father and family cherish the most.”

Hi Cheryl Hines, it’s commendable that you remain composed as your spouse publicly endorses a convicted rapist, who boasts about undermining women’s basic freedoms. Indeed, it takes courage to uphold principles like these. A fine role model for the young ones to emulate.
