As a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan for over three decades now, I have seen more heartbreak than victories, but this season was different – until it wasn’t. The playoffs were looking promising after our defense dismantled an injured Seahawks team and we advanced to the Divisional Round against Green Bay.
To predict the Philadelphia Eagles’ performance for the 2024-2025 season as per Madden 25, we looked at their projected results. Last season saw a disappointing late-slide where the team lost six out of their last seven matches, including playoffs. This year, notable veterans Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce have retired, while the coaching staff underwent changes for the third consecutive offseason. Despite these departures, there’s still an impressive roster, bolstered by the acquisition of free agent Saquon Barkley. Therefore, let’s see what Madden 25 suggests about their upcoming season.
Eagles’ 2024-2025 Season Results According to Madden 25
Ending it where it all started.
NFL veteran Nick Foles is set to announce his retirement from football during his visit to Philadelphia on Monday, September 16, which coincides with the Eagles’ home opener against Atlanta Falcons.
— Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) August 8, 2024
Based on the simulation outcomes, it appears that the Eagles are projected to finish with a record of 13 wins and 4 losses, qualifying them for the playoffs. However, let’s delve deeper to determine what position they might secure in the standings and whether they will clinch their division title. Let’s take a closer look.
Week 1 – vs. Green Bay Packers
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
GB | 10 | 3 | 7 | 10 | 30 |
PHI | 7 | 6 | 10 | 3 | 26 |
During the match, there were seven times when the lead switched between the two teams, as each time one team scored, the other team immediately retaliated with a scoring drive.
Freshly acquired running back HB Saquon Barkley didn’t hold back in demonstrating his skills right off the bat. He racked up 96 yards on 17 carries, scored a touchdown and added 26 receiving yards. Jalen Hurts also played admirably, but the Philadelphia Eagles offense found themselves settling for field goals on four separate occasions. Although Jake Elliott is an exceptional kicker, it’s beneficial for any offense to avoid squandering numerous red zone opportunities.
With approximately 2 minutes and 42 seconds left, the Packers secured a 30-26 advantage. Yet again, the Eagles made a good push towards their opponent’s end zone. Regrettably for them, they faltered at Green Bay’s 18-yard line where four consecutive failed passes resulted in a win for the Packers.
Record: 0-1
Week 2 – vs. Atlanta Falcons
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
ATL | 0 | 7 | 0 | 13 | 20 |
PHI | 10 | 13 | 10 | 0 | 33 |
In a humorous twist, when Kirk Cousins appears on primetime TV, it seems to translate into an opposing team’s victory. But let’s focus on the Eagles’ performance in this game – they excelled, with Barkley surpassing 100 rushing yards. Devonta Smith stood out as the top receiver, catching 8 passes for 107 yards. Notably, four times the team had to depend on Jake Elliott to make a field goal.
It’s great to see that our defense significantly improved this past week. Both Darius Slay and rookie Cooper DeJean managed to secure an interception, while keeping the Falcons to only 7 points in the first three quarters. This victory marks Philadelphia’s initial win for the season.
Record: 1-1
Week 3 – @ New Orleans Saints
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHI | 7 | 7 | 3 | 7 | 24 |
NO | 7 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 14 |
In the second half, Philadelphia managed to pull ahead of New Orleans in a closely fought defensive battle that ended with a win for them. The offense didn’t perform exceptionally well on this particular day, but the defense stepped up admirably. Players Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis each recorded at least one sack, bringing down Derek Carr a total of five times during the game. The score was level at halftime, but Philadelphia scored an additional 10 points in the second half to secure their victory.
The victory was secured for Philadelphia when Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown pass of eight yards to Dallas Goedert, thus finalizing the game in our favor.
Record: 2-1
Week 4 – @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHI | 7 | 10 | 0 | 14 | 31 |
TB | 3 | 6 | 7 | 3 | 19 |
The Eagles managed to retaliate against the Buccaneers, who mainly relied on four field goals, similar to the Eagles’ approach earlier this season. However, Philadelphia’s offense seemed sluggish in the early stages of the game. Prior to the fourth quarter, Jalen Hurts had completed just 13 out of 18 passes for a total of 157 yards. But in the final quarter, Hurts added another 115 yards and scored two touchdowns, both going to A.J Brown.
Regarding Brown, he achieved his initial 100-yard performance of the season. By the game’s end, he had caught 7 passes for a total of 139 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. All in all, it was an impressive outing for the Eagles across the board.
Record: 3-1
Week 6 – vs. Cleveland Browns
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
CLE | 7 | 3 | 0 | 7 | 17 |
PHI | 7 | 10 | 3 | 10 | 30 |
Midway through the second quarter, finding themselves behind 10-7, the Eagles responded by scoring 20 consecutive points, leading them to their fourth straight win. Saquon Barkley and Nick Chubb accumulated a total of 285 rushing yards between them, with both players also managing to score at least one touchdown during the game.
In the initial three quarters, Deshaun Watson was largely contained by the Eagles, only able to make significant moves. However, he accumulated more than 250 yards overall. Interestingly, during the third quarter, he tossed an interception, which went to Sydney Brown.
With the win, the Eagles find themselves in a nice four-game win streak.
Record: 4-1
Week 7 – @ New York Giants
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHI | 14 | 17 | 7 | 6 | 44 |
NYG | 0 | 3 | 0 | 14 | 17 |
Saquon Barkley had his sweet revenge against the Giants at MetLife Stadium. As the starting halfback, he rushed 19 times for a total of 106 yards and scored three touchdowns. The Eagles completely overpowered New York in the first half, leading them 31-3.
In the second half, the pace of the game slowed as the Giants scored two late touchdowns. However, for each touchdown by the Giants, the Eagles responded with lengthy field goal drives. This left no room for the Giants to catch up in this matchup. To add to their woes, Daniel Jones threw three interceptions during the game. Darius Slay, C.J. Gardner Johnson, and Reed Blankenship were among those who successfully intercepted him.
Record: 5-1
Week 8 – @ Cincinnati Bengals
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHI | 7 | 7 | 7 | 7 | 28 |
CIN | 0 | 14 | 3 | 18 | 35 |
The unbeaten run of five games for the Eagles was broken during their encounter with the Cincinnati Bengals. At halftime, they held a slim 7-0 advantage, suggesting that Philadelphia had numerous opportunities to extend their lead, but failed to capitalize on them. A pass interception by Burrow and delivered to Reed Blankenship, followed by an offensive punt from the Eagles shortly thereafter, was one such instance. Later in the third quarter, Zack Moss lost possession, only for Jalen Hurts to throw an interception immediately afterwards.
Simultaneously, the Bengals managed to keep their hopes alive in the game. Trailing 28-20, Joe Burrow and his teammates scored two consecutive touchdowns, putting them ahead 33-21. Following a successful two-point conversion, the Eagles now faced an uphill battle, with a slim chance of winning.
Record: 5-2
Week 9 – vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | OT | FINAL |
JAX | 3 | 12 | 0 | 7 | 3 | 25 |
PHI | 6 | 3 | 7 | 6 | 6 | 28 |
As a lifelong Eagles fan and resident of Philadelphia, I eagerly anticipated Doug Pederson’s return to our city after his departure from the team. I was excited about seeing him face off against his former squad, hoping for a victory that would solidify our team’s dominance in the league. However, the game turned out to be a grueling battle, reminiscent of a heavyweight boxing match. The Eagles and Pederson’s new team seemed evenly matched, with neither side willing to give an inch. In the end, it was the Eagles who emerged victorious in overtime, marking their first game to go into extra time this season. While I was initially disappointed that Pederson didn’t come out on top, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride watching our team fight and ultimately prevail. The experience only served to strengthen my love for the Eagles and my appreciation for the passion and grit they display on the field.
Initially, the Jaguars attempted to establish a 17-9 advantage in the early stages, however, they failed to convert a two-point attempt, leaving them ahead 15-9 at halftime. In response, the Eagles scored a touchdown to kick off the second half, narrowing the gap to 16-15. Subsequently, Jake Elliott kicked two more field goals, and Christian Kirk scored a touchdown. As a result, both teams found themselves in a tied situation at 22-22.
On their first overtime possession, the Jaguars managed a field goal. To win, however, they had to prevent a score. Regrettably, cornerback Isaiah Rogers returned the following kickoff for a touchdown, securing the Eagles’ triumph instead.
Record: 6-2
Week 10 – @ Dallas Cowboys
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHI | 0 | 7 | 3 | 6 | 16 |
DAL | 7 | 14 | 7 | 7 | 35 |
Playing against a divisional rival on their home turf is always challenging, and unfortunately, the Eagles experienced their initial divisional defeat this season. The Cowboys’ offense proved unstoppable, with Dak Prescott scoring an impressive four touchdowns against a faltering Eagles defense. To add salt to the wound, Jalen Carter sustained an injury that will sideline him until the playoffs, leaving the defensive line short-handed.
In yesterday’s game, Jalen Hurts had his lowest performance of the season, failing to throw any touchdowns and making two interceptions instead. On the other hand, Saquon Barkley was the one who scored both of the team’s touchdowns; interestingly, the second one came when the game was already leaning heavily in favor of the opposition. As a result, the Eagles now find themselves with a record of 6-3, while the Cowboys move ahead in the division.
Record: 6-3
Week 11 – vs. Washington Commanders
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHI | 7 | 14 | 7 | 3 | 31 |
WAS | 0 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 10 |
After suffering a disappointing divisional defeat, the Eagles rebounded impressively against Washington. They largely contained rookie Jayden Daniels, restricting their offense to only 10 points. A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith both amassed over 82 receiving yards apiece, with the former scoring a 54-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Despite being limited in his action (15 carries), Saquon Barkley managed to rack up 72 yards, including a 28-yard run.
From my gaming perspective, on defense, we managed to bring down the newbie quarterback for four sacks, but unfortunately, we couldn’t pry any turnovers from him. Yet, in the opening act, we scooped up a fumble, which set us up for our initial points of the day.
Record: 7-3
Week 12 – @ Los Angeles Rams
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHI | 3 | 14 | 0 | 21 | 38 |
LAR | 7 | 0 | 14 | 0 | 21 |
In the final quarter, Philadelphia erupted with energy. Much appreciation is due to Darius Slay, who managed a thrilling 76-yard interception runback for a touchdown, sparking a surge of enthusiasm among the Eagles.
In the fourth quarter, the Rams were unable to add any further points to their score. On the other hand, the Eagles’ offense sprang back into action, scoring two more touchdowns before time ran out. Jalen Hurts passed for 312 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, leading the Eagles to victory. With this win, they regain the top position in their division.

TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
PHII | 3 | 10 | 0 | 7 | 20 |
BAL | 14 | 7 | 10 | 6 | 37 |
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but marvel at Lamar Jackson’s outstanding performance against the Eagles! He ruled both through the air and the ground, completing an impressive 73% of his passes for a whopping 266 yards while also rushing 9 times for a swift 67 yards. Not only did he toss the ball for four stunning touchdowns, but he even added a thrilling 20-yard rush for another TD! Baltimore’s dominance in possession time also significantly reduced Saquon Barkley’s carries, resulting in him carrying the ball just 12 times for a mere 50 yards. What a game Lamar Jackson had!
However, it was the defense that posed the most significant challenge. By the end of three quarters, they had conceded 31 points, and Baltimore added two field goal drives in the final quarter. This resulted in a loss for Dallas, which in turn gave them control over the division once more.
Record: 8-4
Week 14 – vs. Carolina Panthers. Eagles 2024 Season Results According to Madden 25

CAR | 3 | 7 | 0 | 7 | 17 |
PHI | 14 | 0 | 7 | 7 | 28 |
In this contest, the Eagles effectively thwarted both Bryce Young and an emerging Panthers squad. The offense ignited with a pair of touchdowns courtesy of Saquon Barkley. Carolina came close to reclaiming the game through a touchdown pass to Xavier Legette. Yet, the Eagles regained momentum, scoring two consecutive touchdowns to confirm their victory.
In the game, Dallas Goedert had the highest number of receptions among all receivers with six catches. However, he managed just 45 yards. Early in the fourth quarter, he did find the end zone with a five-yard touchdown reception.

In an unexpectedly challenging match, Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers gave the Philadelphia Eagles a run for their money. However, the Eagles demonstrated remarkable resilience throughout the game, pushing hard until the final moments to secure victory. With the scores level at 17-17 by the end of the third quarter, the Eagles had no choice but to attempt a field goal early in the fourth. The Steelers retaliated with an extended touchdown drive, culminating in George Pickens scoring a 19-yard touchdown.
On their subsequent play, The Eagles chose to kick, but successfully halted Pittsburgh’s offensive advance, regaining possession. It was Devonta Smith who rescued the game with back-to-back receptions of 18 and 22 yards. However, the Birds required a touchdown, luckily they scored one.
With about 2 minutes and 33 seconds left on the clock, Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown pass to Parris Campbell, putting the Eagles ahead 27-24. The defense just had to hold their ground from there. However, Wilson managed to move the ball down the field effortlessly. Due to the Steelers burning two of their timeouts unnecessarily, they were compelled to hasten their play. In the end, Chris Boswell missed a 45-yard field goal, allowing the Eagles to snatch a narrow win.
Record: 10-4

In an closely contested matchup, The Eagles secured another win against a more formidable Commanders squad. Jayden Daniels didn’t have a stellar performance, but he did manage to complete nearly seven out of every ten passes for 230 yards. Additionally, he rushed the ball four times for 34 yards and scored one touchdown. Initially playing well, Washington managed to reverse the situation and held a 17-10 lead at halftime.
Philadelphia gradually regained ground in the competition by scoring a field goal, but Washington countered with one of their own. However, Jalen Hurts and his offense exploded, scoring two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to take a 27-20 lead. The Commanders were unable to level the score again, and Philadelphia secured their 11th victory of the season.

In a nail-biting showdown that could’ve decided the division title, the Eagles just managed to outlast the Cowboys for their third consecutive win by a single score. Once more, Jake Elliott proved invaluable, kicking four more field goals. So far this season, he’s only missed two field goal attempts and none of his extra points – making him essentially the team’s top performer.
Once more, I outplayed Philly’s defense with my team, the Cowboys. Prescott managed a hat-trick of touchdowns, and two of those beautiful tosses found their way into the hands of our standout wide receiver, Ceedee Lamb. He snagged 12 passes for an impressive 144 yards in the unfortunate loss we faced.
In the fourth quarter, with a score of 26-24 in favor of the Eagles, they added another field goal to increase their opponents’ difficulties. However, Rico Dowdle managed a 26-yard touchdown run that gave Dallas the lead for the first time during the game. Luckily for the Eagles, there was still enough time left for them to score another field goal. Eventually, after a lengthy drive, Jake Elliott scored the decisive points with just three seconds left on the clock.

In the absence of Devin Singletary and Malik Nabers due to injuries, the Giants faced difficulty without their crucial players. Daniel Jones tossed another three interceptions against the Eagles. Interestingly, he managed a total of 439 yards, scored 3 touchdowns, and threw 6 interceptions in both games against the Eagles this season so far.
1. Darius Slay scored his second interception return touchdown of the season just three plays into the game. As for the Eagles’ offense, they regained control once the second quarter began. Saquon Barkley faced some difficulties initially, but managed to secure a 44-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Overall, he accumulated 102 yards on 17 carries.
With their victory, the Eagles clinched the NFC East Championship. Yet, due to the 49ers finishing with a strong record of 14 wins and 3 losses, the Eagles, being the second-ranked team, will compete in the Wildcard Playoff round.

Wildcard Round – vs #7 Seahawks. Eagles 2024 Season Results According to Madden 25
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
SEA | 3 | 0 | 0 | 7 | 10 |
PHI | 7 | 0 | 7 | 10 | 24 |
In the initial playoff match, the Eagles’ defense easily handled a Seahawks team with several key injuries. Notably, Seattle was short-staffed on their offensive line as they were missing three out of five starters. Meanwhile, Jalen Carter had recently recovered from an injury. This weakened offensive line left Geno Smith vulnerable, resulting in him being sacked six times, with Carter and Josh Sweat each getting two, while Jordan Davis and Bryce Huff each got one.
The Eagles’ offense had an acceptable performance initially, but it truly shone during the second half. As for Jalen Hurts, he managed to complete just over half of his passes, amounting to 193 yards. However, his five runs for 35 yards provided some relief on a day that wasn’t particularly successful through the air. Saquon Barkley was restricted to 75 yards on 20 carries, but he found the end zone twice in the victory. Most significantly, Philadelphia has progressed to the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Divisional Round – vs. #3 Packers. Eagles 2024
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
GB | 7 | 17 | 3 | 3 | 30 |
PHI | 7 | 3 | 7 | 10 | 27 |
Regrettably, just as their season began, the Eagles faced defeat at the hands of Green Bay. In the initial half, Jordan Love and the Packers displayed exceptional play, leaving the Eagles playing catch-up. By the time Philadelphia managed to close the gap, it had already been too late.
In the last game of the season, the Eagles’ offensive starters delivered solid performances. Barkley racked up 85 yards on 15 rushing attempts. Hurts successfully completed about 2 out of every 3 passes for a total of 284 yards. Devonta Smith hauled in 128 yards from six receptions, while A.J. Brown gained 75 yards on four catches. Unfortunately, their strong performance wasn’t enough to secure a win, and the Eagles’ season concluded with a disappointing loss.
