As a seasoned anime and gaming enthusiast, immersing myself in the rich tapestry of Japanese culture for decades now, I must say, Game Source Entertainment has truly outdone themselves with their latest offering, “Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade“. Having grown up watching K-On!, I was already ecstatic about the prospect of these beloved voice actors stepping into new roles.
As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Game Source Entertainment has unveiled character trailers for the individual heroes in Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade! These trailers have also shed light on the talented voice actors who will bring the main characters to life in this epic game.
On Game Source’s YouTube channel, you can watch various trailers. While these trailers are offered in English, Japanese, and Chinese, they all utilize the same Japanese narration.
Back in April, Game Source unveiled the game for the first time, but only shared that Yoko Hikasa (popularly recognized as Mio Akiyama from K-On) would voice the female ninja character Shigure. The recent trailer batch also features Shigure, however it’s more significant because it revealed the voice actors for the other two main characters as well. Sara, the oni demon girl, will be voiced by Ayana Taketatsu (best known as Azusa Nakano from K-On), and the character Taketora, a tiger man, will be brought to life by Rikiya Koyama (also known as Kiritsugu Emiya in Fate/Zero).
