As a seasoned Valorant enthusiast who’s been through the ups and downs of countless matches and tournaments, I must say, this 2025 VCT schedule is truly a feast for the eyes! The double elimination format at Kickoff promises a thrilling start to the season, with a chance for underdogs to shine just as brightly as the favorites.
2025’s VCT season schedule, including Masters and Champions event locations, has been officially unveiled by Riot. Starting from January 2024, the Kickoff returns, now featuring a refreshed format.
12 teams, including the champions of Ascension in both 2023 and 2024 as well as some partnered ones, will participate in a double elimination tournament during the event. The victor and second place finishers of each Kickoff competition across all regions will secure their spots for Masters Bangkok, which is scheduled for February.
12 Teams will follow a Double Elimination format for the kickoff. The top 2 teams from this round will advance to Bangkok, making a total of 8 teams there.

Following the initial kickoff, Stage 1 commences in March and continues until May. The top three teams advancing from this stage will proceed to the Masters Toronto tournament, set to start in June. This will be followed by Stage 2 in July, a significant difference being that unlike the 2023 season, points earned during Stage 1 won’t be transferred to Stage 2.
In September, the top-tier squads will compete at the largest Valorant Competitive Tournament event of the year, known as Valorant Champions Paris. Once the season concludes in November, we’ll see the excitement from Game Changers Championship; but, its specific location is still undisclosed.
