Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 pushes release date back to the first half of 2025

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen more than a few delays in the gaming industry. However, I must admit, hearing that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is being pushed back to 2025 gave me a bit of a chill down my spine. But then again, if it means more endings and addressing feedback from playtests, I’m all for it!

The developers at The Chinese Room, in collaboration with publisher Paradox Interactive, have decided to push back the launch date for “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2” to the first half of 2025. Originally slated for a Fall 2024 release, the game has undergone a challenging and tumultuous development process, with responsibility now in the hands of The Chinese Room.

In a recent video update, Creative Director Alex Skidmore and Mattias Lilja, Deputy CEO of Paradox Interactive, discussed the progress of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Right now, the development team is focusing on refining and perfecting the game’s content.

Because of their partnership with The Chinese Room for additional development time, Skidmore notes that the team now has the opportunity to incorporate more alternate endings into the game, as well as take into account feedback gathered from playtests.

Back in the early part of this year, a significant 33-minute gameplay preview was revealed for an upcoming RPG. The game, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, is set to launch during the first half of 2025 on platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers (available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
