Mike’s Hard Lemonade is launching a new range of drinks inspired by the popular ‘dirty soda’ trend, representing a major update to their product lineup.
Mike’s Dirty Lemonade will be available across the country starting April 1st. This new version of the drink won’t be fizzy, offering a different take on the original flavor.
This announcement coincides with the launch of the company’s new “Made with Real Character” platform, a campaign celebrating what makes people unique and genuine. To help spread the message, they’re also introducing three lemon characters – Sonny, Cal, and Tina – who will be featured in online videos, on social media, and through streaming content.
Mike’s Dirty Lemonade represents a fresh step for the company, building on its success with the original hard lemonade it introduced 27 years ago.
Mike’s Dirty Lemonade flavors revealed
This new drink line features four different flavors, all inspired by the popular ‘dirty soda’ trend. They’re blended for a unique taste and have a smooth texture without carbonation, with an alcohol content of 4.5%.
- Dirty Lemon Secret: Citrus flavor with sweetness and hot honey notes
- Dark Cherry Brew: Cherry and citrus with spice flavors and a cola-style finish
- Very Berry Grape: Grape and lemon mixed with berry flavors
- Pineapple Haze: Pineapple and lemon with coconut notes

The brand says these drinks are based on the popular ‘dirty soda’ trend, where people customize classic sodas with flavored syrups, creams, and other tasty additions.
Kevin Brady, the VP of Marketing for Mike’s Hard Lemonade, explained that the brand is entering a new phase, aiming to connect with how people express themselves now. He said they’re focusing on authenticity and celebrating individuality to create a more genuine connection with consumers.
The new “Made with Real Character” campaign is launching nationwide and will primarily use online videos, events, and social media to connect with audiences. Sonny, Cal, and Tina will be the stars representing this fresh approach for the brand.
Mountain Dew wasn’t the first big name to offer a ‘dirty soda’ – they launched a limited-edition version back in September 2025. Other major companies have also started creating similar drinks.
