With summer officially here, fans of Bravo’s Summer House are bracing for drama – and it seems some is already brewing. Amanda Batula and West Wilson have confirmed they’re now a couple in a joint post on Instagram. They explained they wanted to address the rumors that have been circulating, saying it wasn’t their intention to keep things secret. They needed time to sort out their feelings privately, especially considering their complicated history and the pressure of being on a reality TV show.
We’ve been friends for a long time, supporting each other through everything, and this recent development was a complete surprise to both of us. Because our relationship started as a close friendship, we knew we had to handle things with sensitivity and thoughtfulness.
They explained that they hadn’t been forthcoming because they needed time to sort out their feelings. They also understood their silence affected others and wanted to make sure their actions didn’t cause pain or seem thoughtless.
The rumors started in March when Deuxmoi shared reports of flirty interactions between West and Amanda around New York City. Shortly after, Page Six reported tension between Amanda and West’s former partner, Ciara Miller. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on March 23rd, West downplayed any romantic connection, claiming they were simply friends exploring the city. He did admit she was a “very important person” to him and that he cared about her deeply. However, it seems his feelings went beyond just caring.
