At AnimeJapan 2026, Com2uS announced they are starting to develop a game based on the anime series, I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths.
Com2uS is currently working on two games: Gachiakuta: The Game, which will be released on PC and consoles, and another based on the story ‘I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths.’ The platforms for the latter game haven’t been announced yet. Com2uS, led by CEO Jae-kwan Nam, has announced they are creating a new game inspired by the hit Japanese anime series, “I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!” (referred to as A-Rank Party).
I’m so excited! Com2uS just announced they’re making a game based on the A-Rank Party anime! They’ve partnered with Kodansha, who owns the rights, and they’re planning to really capture what makes the anime great while also adding their own fun gameplay. It sounds like they’re going to build on the story and characters in a really cool, interactive way. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Originally a popular light novel and then a comic, A-Rank Party has sold over 1.8 million copies and gained fans around the world thanks to its anime adaptation. The story centers on Yuke, a powerful Red Mage, who leaves his elite team to team up with his old students and explore a dangerous dungeon. Due to its growing success, a second season of the anime is now being made.
A new game project was unexpectedly revealed at AnimeJapan 2026 in Tokyo on March 29th. The announcement took place during a stage event at the Com2uS booth, where anime voice actors appeared as the game was showcased on a large screen, capturing the attention of everyone in attendance.
A short, one-minute trailer was revealed, introducing the main character, Yuke, along with his students, Rain and Marina. The trailer gives a glimpse of the new adventure these three will experience in the game.
Com2uS engaged with fans at recent events by showcasing upcoming games like Tougen Anki Crimson Inferno and Gachiakuta: The Game (currently in development), and also revealed their new game, A-Rank Party. The company intends to expand its reach worldwide by releasing more high-quality games based on well-known anime series.
