Randy Orton Has Put Over 600 Hours Into Elden Ring

As a seasoned gamer who has seen my fair share of wrestling rings and virtual realms alike, I can wholeheartedly appreciate Randy Orton‘s dedication to Elden Ring. Having had my own share of downtime due to injuries and surgeries, I know all too well the soothing escape a game like this can provide.

During the period between May 2022 and November 2023, WWE wrestler Randy Orton had to take an extended break due to injuries. It seems that a significant portion of this time was spent immersed in the world of Elden Ring by From Software, exploring the Lands Between. Even though Orton is active again, he has clocked a total of 600 hours playing Elden Ring since he began.

Through VGC, Orton openly expressed his passion for Elden Ring on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About video series. In the past, Orton used to jest about Rhodes being a gamer, but now it seems that Orton has surpassed Rhodes in terms of gaming enthusiasm.

Orton shared, “I’m absolutely captivated by Elden Ring! Since I recently underwent spinal fusion surgery and had plenty of free time, I invested around 600 hours into the game. The latest DLC has just been released, which I’m looking forward to exploring more!”

Ever since assuming the role as WWE’s main figure, Rhodes no longer enjoys the leisurely time he once did. This is part of the reason he hasn’t delved into Elden Ring just yet. However, Orton eagerly looks forward to exploring that game together with his friend.

Orton remarked, “You’re doing great and you’re pressed for time, and I get it. I’d really enjoy discussing Elden Ring with you, believe me. If only we were both part of the same world of Tarnished, that would be ideal.”

With a fresh five-year contract with WWE, Orton now likely has the means to acquire the costly Elden Ring book. Regardless of whether he buys it or not, it seems he plans to continue enjoying the game for an extended period.
