IShowSpeed reveals his “cheat code” for staying super fit

IShowSpeed, a popular online streamer, is known for being one of the most physically active and energetic entertainers on the internet.

It’s easy to understand why he’s well-known – he’s previously competed directly against professional athletes like sprinters Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo. He also famously jumped over two speeding supercars in a stunt that went viral and briefly got him removed from YouTube.

After much anticipation, Speed revealed the source of his incredible athletic ability on March 28th – and it turns out it’s likely not as complicated as many people assumed.

IShowSpeed shows off his favorite exercise hack

While streaming, Speed showed his viewers his bathroom, which surprisingly included a pull-up bar fitted in the doorway.

The streamer shared that he does pull-ups every time he uses the bathroom, which helps him get a quick workout in, even when he’s short on time.

He shared a simple fitness tip: do pull-ups every morning. He installed a pull-up bar in his bathroom, which has significantly strengthened his back, and highly recommends others do the same if they’re interested in getting fit.

So, I started doing ten pull-ups every time I went to the bathroom – which, for most people, is about five times a day. That adds up to fifty pull-ups total, broken into five sets. Honestly, it’s made me a lot stronger, and I’m really noticing the results.

Speed demonstrated how challenging the exercise could be by doing a harder version with his legs lifted. This variation requires significant strength from the arms, back, and core, all working together.

I’ve already done this several times today, so I’m finished. You can continue with what you were doing. I’m heading out now – did you see?

Pull-ups are a great way to build strength using just your body weight, and they work several muscles. Adding exercises like leg-raises can make them even more effective.

Pull-ups are a great exercise for building strength in your back, arms, and shoulders, and they also improve your grip and overall fitness. They can be challenging for people just starting out, so using an assisted pull-up machine at the gym is a good way to learn the correct form and build the necessary strength to do them on your own.

IShowSpeed’s consistent exercise routine has really improved his fitness, to the point where he was able to keep up with a cheetah while on his trip to Africa.
