It’s not a good day for Sydney Sweeney, at least when it comes to a potential biopic about Kim Novak. Rumors have been circulating that Sweeney was cast to play the Vertigo star in a film directed by her Euphoria co-star, Colman Domingo, with David Jonsson reportedly playing Sammy Davis Jr. However, Novak herself has shut down the idea. In a new interview with The Times, Novak stated she would “never have approved” of Sweeney in the role, and playfully pointed out that their similarities are limited to both being blonde. Novak also added a rather direct comment about Sweeney’s figure. While acknowledging Sweeney is always “sexy,” Novak firmly believes she was the wrong choice to portray her. The situation is amusing considering Sweeney frequently wears jeans – something she emphasized in her own statements. Perhaps someone should let Novak know about Sweeney’s everyday style and comfort with jeans, and maybe even send her a supportive bra – it might change her mind!
