A food truck owner, known online as ‘Musa_Usa’, was robbed on a livestream when someone reached into the tip jar and stole money.
Muhsin Sarac is the owner of Musa Steak & Dogs, a popular food truck in Baltimore. He’s become well-known not just for his delicious food, but also for the fun and engaging videos he creates while running the business. He streams his work online, serving the local community and attracting a large following.
I was really looking forward to Sarac’s broadcast on March 28, 2026, but it didn’t quite go the way he hoped. Things were pretty slow that night, and he was starting to wrap up, when a customer actually showed up at the food truck!
A customer ordered a cheesesteak with all the usual toppings, and then asked for even more of everything. While the sandwich was being made, the customer reached into the tip jar and took some money.

At the beginning of their conversation, the customer was informed that the call was being recorded and broadcast live. Sarac then asked if it was alright for him to share the interaction on Instagram, and the representative readily agreed, saying, “Yeah, that’s what’s up.”
After the last order, someone needed to clean the grill. The customer said it was okay to take as long as needed. But as the streamer turned around, the customer started to reach for the tip jar, then hesitated and pulled their hand back.
When Sarac wasn’t looking, the customer grabbed several bills from the tip jar. They pretended to ask how much the food cost, saying they wanted to put the correct amount in as a tip.

He quickly said, “Just a moment,” and then reminded me, “And don’t forget, I want everything extra.” He took the money and left, never coming back.
Sarac turned to his audience and asked if the person had stolen the money. He then stated his belief that they had, noting it was around twenty dollars, and expressed disbelief that the person would return.
It didn’t take long for the police to arrive, and Sarac even offered to FaceTime 911 so they could see live footage of the customer he was reporting.
Things got really intense when the police showed up, and it turned out they already knew the guy! I was just thinking, he seemed so normal, it’s crazy to think why he’d be doing whatever he was doing.
Several videos of the event have been posted on his social media, and one suggests something more serious may have happened.
One video caption simply stated, “Tip box saved my life,” showing the customer reaching into his jacket pocket from another viewpoint.
“If he not see money tip box, he try kill or [rob] me.”
