Pokémon Pokopia is still very new, but players are already discovering fun and creative ways to enjoy it with each other.

Pokopia’s multiplayer feature lets you invite up to three friends to play with you in your world. They can help you create new homes and buildings, but this collaborative building is currently limited to Palette Town.

For more collaborative building, players can create a Cloud Island with friends, allowing everyone to continue playing and building together even when the island’s creator isn’t online.

So, you can hang out with friends in their worlds now, which is awesome! But if you’re a visitor, you can’t actually build anything there. That’s meant we’ve all been getting creative, figuring out fun stuff to do on our own islands that doesn’t rely on building, so we can still play together!

These ideas can be quite imaginative and sometimes involve major changes to your surroundings. However, if you’re searching for a reason to begin a new, ambitious project, or connect with the vibrant Pokopia online community, this could be the perfect opportunity.

5. Prop Hunt

After becoming friends with Zorua at Bleak Beach, Ditto gains the ability to use Camouflage, allowing it to transform into various objects.

In the popular Call of Duty mode, players are split into two teams: Props and Hunters. Props disguise themselves as objects and try to blend in, while Hunters must spot the imposters and figure out who’s pretending to be an object.

I first saw this game mode going viral on TikTok thanks to jojojosiah_, and let me tell you, it’s hilarious! It’s especially fun when you’re playing with friends and a ton of Pokémon end up getting mixed up in the chaos.

Players are adapting Prop Hunt in Pokopia by changing the win condition: instead of relying on a timer, the first player to reach the town’s Poke Center without being discovered wins.

Even though it’s not as wild as Prop Hunt in Call of Duty, this can be a fun way for your friends to enjoy your island, even if they aren’t builders.

4. Graveller Racing

In Graveller Racing, players use Graveller’s Rollout move to travel along a specially designed track.

A Reddit user named flamin_sheep showed how much fun Graveller racetracks can be and shared some great drifting techniques, which might inspire you to try it out yourself.

Rollout is a surprisingly useful move, and it’s awesome to see players discovering even more ways to use it. Because you can gain so much speed by rolling continuously, I’m hoping we’ll soon see some creative courses inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog games.

3. Dragonite Gliding

Dragonite Gliding is a really cool multiplayer mode that’s been gaining popularity online.

This mini-game lets players fly through the air as Dragonite, racing each other through a course of rings. Players are getting creative with their courses, even adding waterfalls! To overcome these, some are using Lapras to ride the water and get back up to the necessary height.

If you struggled with the Chocobo racing in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, you’ll probably find this mini-game much easier. Flying with Dragonite is smoother and less frustrating than controlling a Chocobo, so you should have a more enjoyable experience.

Honestly, there aren’t many courses like this around yet – it takes ages to build them! But I’m already picturing all the crazy and inventive levels players are going to create. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

It’s no surprise that Pokémon fans have taken a friendly game about building islands and transformed it into a surprisingly competitive and intense experience.

This fan-created game has gained a lot of popularity, and I think that reflects well on the community. It’s easy to play: you just hold down the Rock Smash button and try to knock your opponent into a lava pit.

First, you’ll need to create an area above lava. You can build a basic bridge for a quick setup, or design a custom deathmatch arena – it’s up to you!

Fortunately, even if one player is really good, those who have been eliminated can still influence the game by adjusting the rope’s speed, preventing the current player from having an easy time.

The Pokémon Pokopia multiplayer community is brand new, but players are already showing incredible creativity! The mini-games are a fun addition to the already great core gameplay, offering a nice way to take a break and play with friends. If you’re looking for something to build, designing a long obstacle course for the Rollout move would be a fantastic project.

Hopefully, Nintendo is watching what fans are creating and will consider adding tools to make building large projects easier and help players discover them within the game.
