As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that, as per 2K, my favorite prospect, Caitlin Clark, has an impressive NBA 2K25 rating of 90 OVR. This score ties her with Angel Reese, making them the highest-rated WNBA rookies in this year’s game! They outrank other promising newcomers like Kamilla Cordoso, Rickea Jackson, and Cameron Brink by a substantial 10 OVR points. It’s an exciting start to their careers!

As a 22-year-old point guard in my first year here at Indiana, I’m proudly stepping up for my team with some huge contributions. I’ve been tearing it up on the court, averaging 8.2 assists per game and scoring over 17 points per competition. Not only that, but I broke records by being the quickest player to rack up both 100 points and 50 assists – a testament to my offensive prowess. I’m just getting started!

Despite excelling in many areas, Clark continues to focus on improving her ball protection skills. Regrettably, she currently averages 5.6 turnovers per game, a statistic that has also been a concern for her since her college days, with an average of almost 5 turnovers per game throughout her collegiate career. However, this does not diminish the fact that the 2024 WNBA All-Star is playing exceptionally well overall.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve been amazed as fresh talents have smashed NBA 2K rookie ratings. Last season alone, Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama set the record for the highest rookie rating in an NBA 2K game. This year, it’s Clark and Reese who are making waves, breaking the rookie record for WNBA newcomers. It seems their journey to a 99 OVR will be a smoother ride compared to other players.

Regarding Clark and Reese, they must consistently deliver top-notch performances to preserve their current rating levels. Given their impressive debut seasons, there’s a strong possibility that their ratings may decrease moving forward. It will be fascinating to monitor their progress and see how their ratings evolve as they continue their careers, with all eyes on these talented young athletes.

As a longtime basketball enthusiast with years of gaming under my belt, I must say that I’m genuinely intrigued by the latest updates to NBA 2K25, particularly Caitlin Clark’s rating and the new features for the W online mode. Having played previous versions of the game, I can tell you that fully voiced press conferences and a brand new court in the W online are sure to elevate my gaming experience. Moreover, getting a glimpse into the player ratings for stars like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander only fuels my excitement. I can’t wait to see how these updates breathe fresh life into the game and make it even more enjoyable.
