Chick-fil-a customer goes viral after riding horse through drive-thru

A Chick-fil-A restaurant in Florida got a surprising visitor on March 21st: a customer riding a horse! The customer went through the drive-thru on horseback.

Felipe Delmora, who was riding the horse, filmed the whole thing with a camera in his glasses. Staff were surprised when the rider casually approached the covered ordering area, where employee Mike greeted them with a loud welcome as they halted.

Employees were stunned as horseback customer arrives

Mike greeted everyone with a cheerful “How’s it going?” When his coworker asked if she could record what was happening, Delmora happily gave her permission.

The co-worker then asks the horse’s name, to which Delmora responds, “Gitano.”

A car soon drove up alongside them, and Mike quietly celebrated when it began to park in the next lane. He softly said “Yes, yes, yes” and pumped his fist in the air.

The employee didn’t know how to categorize the order, prompting Delmora to ask if this had ever happened before. Mike responded with disbelief, saying, “A horse has never come through the drive-through… this is incredible!”

Once the order was placed, Mike grabbed his walkie-talkie and excitedly told the team inside, “We have a customer on horseback!” He asked them to check the cameras to see what was going on.

Someone finishing their shift walked by and overheard the group, mentioning they’d been discussing this all along.

Unfortunately, the video ends suddenly because the glasses Delmora was using to record it ran out of battery.

Horses have been getting a lot of attention online this year, and this isn’t the first instance. Remember the horse that escaped its stable and went for a walk around Tama Ward?
