In 2019, Mark Wahlberg surprised many people when he revealed his incredibly early morning routine in an interview with Men’s Journal.
Mark Wahlberg starts his day incredibly early. He eats breakfast at 3:45 AM, begins training by 4:00 AM, and prays at 5:00 AM, followed by a round of golf at 6:00 AM. He dedicates Thursdays to rest and recovery, and considers Sundays a day for religious observance. He enjoys and is energized by this demanding routine.

He recently told Deadline that he believes your morning routine greatly impacts the rest of your day. He described “The 4am Club” as a way to build discipline, take responsibility, and strive for self-improvement, adding that he’s enjoyed collaborating with the people involved.
The trailer shows Mark Wahlberg exercising while jokingly imitating how others imitate him. It also captures the behind-the-scenes moments of training – the crew questioning his early start, him having trouble with the equipment, craving Fruit Loops, feeling unwell, and generally being a dedicated, perhaps overzealous, athlete.
The 4am Club is a new series produced by Mark Wahlberg’s company, Unrealistic Ideas. According to the company president, the show aims to reveal a more personal side of Mark and the featured creators, showcasing authentic workouts, genuine conversations, and their unique personalities. It’s described as a competitive, funny, and inspiring look at the mindset needed for success. The first episode features Brent Rivera and will be available on YouTube tomorrow, March 27th, at 7am Pacific Time/10am Eastern Time.
