Robert Pattinson has savage response for Twilight fan who says she’s “Team Jacob”

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has roasted a reporter who told him that she’s “Team Jacob.”

The first Twilight film came out in 2008, and even after 18 years, Robert Pattinson still gets asked about the series that launched his career.

The series centers on a conflict between vampires and werewolves, complicated by a love triangle. Human Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, finds herself choosing between the vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and the werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).

The love triangle in the movie also sparked a huge debate among fans, who passionately chose sides – ‘Team Edward’ or ‘Team Jacob.’ This even became a topic of conversation during interviews for Robert Pattinson’s new movie, ‘The Drama,’ when he was in Paris promoting it.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson calls Team Jacob “crazy”

Robert Pattinson and Zendaya star together in the movie The Drama. While promoting the film in France, a reporter from Canal+ playfully asked Zendaya which ‘team’ she supported, referencing the attention surrounding Pattinson.

“I’m Team Edward, all day, let’s go!” is Zendaya’s response, which makes Pattinson grin and wink.

The reporter pressed Rob for his thoughts, and he responded, “There was never a real Team Jacob – it was just a creation of the marketing department.”

Zendaya playfully told Pattinson, “We all know who you really care about,” and a reporter quickly chimed in to reveal she was on Team Jacob.

Team Edward or Jacob in Twilight? Zendaya and Robert Pattinson weighed in on the debate.

Okay, so Zendaya just said, “You were? Wow.” And Pattinson totally lost it! He was like, “What?!” and then just yelled, “That’s crazy!” It was a wild reaction, honestly.

When told about the upcoming Twilight revival, the actor reacted with surprise, calling it both “crazy” and “weird.”

Don’t expect to see a continuation of the original anytime soon. For the past ten years, there have been discussions about new versions – like remakes, spin-offs, and reboots – and even a TV show, but none of these plans have actually happened.
