Police in Brentwood determined that Ritchson was acting in self-defense during the altercation and decided not to file any charges. A video that initially spread online seemed to show him physically fighting with Ronnie Taylor, a British man living in the US who had previously complained about the actor’s loud motorcycle.
The complete video of the argument surfaced online, revealing that Taylor actually started it. The footage showed Taylor stepping in front of Ritchson while he was riding his bike, and then pushing him. Taylor later confirmed this account in an interview with TMZ.
Ritchson didn’t say anything publicly about what was happening, except for a puzzling message that said, “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” He’s now shared what’s been going on with him since that eventful week.

It’s great to be back recording after a really hectic week! I’ve finished my work on post-production for Season 4 of Reacher. This season is definitely the most intense and exciting one yet – we really found our rhythm and delivered our best work.
It’s understandable why Ritchson hasn’t talked much about the fight that went viral, as the police are investigating. Speaking publicly about it could potentially create more legal problems for him.
Many people jokingly suggested that Ritchson draw from his personal experiences when filming the next season. One commenter even wrote, “Please include a scene where you really go after a terrible neighbor. Is that too soon to ask?”
Fans have been playfully suggesting that Season 4 of Reacher include the actor’s green motorbike, referencing a recent incident. Some joked that the motorbike and the neighbor involved should appear in a post-credit scene, while others simply said the show needs scenes of him riding it.
