Paradise theory about Link solves the Dylan mystery

A surprising discovery in Season 2, Episode 7 of Paradise has linked the characters Link and Dylan, sparking a new fan theory about their connection.

The show ‘Paradise’ began with the mysterious death of President Cal Bradford, and it was soon revealed that the entire story takes place inside a hidden underground bunker.

New secrets and surprising discoveries have emerged, including strange nosebleeds and references to a person named Alex.

A significant reveal occurred in Season 2, Episode 7 when Sinatra encountered Link and discovered his true name was Dylan, with a birthday of May 16th – the same name and birthday as her deceased son.

Paradise Link theory claims Dylan never died

Samantha and Sinatra now believe Link is actually Dylan. However, the first season showed flashbacks of him dying as a child, raising the question: what if he didn’t actually die?

A Reddit user is suggesting that Dylan didn’t actually die, pointing to Season 1, Episode 2. They highlight a scene where a doctor tells Sam and Tim they need to have a difficult conversation, and Sam responds by saying he’ll find someone to replace Dylan, implying Dylan might still be alive.

There’s a powerful moment when young Dylan asks if he’ll go to heaven, and Sam responds that she believes he will. She later confides to Gabriela that she feels irrevocably broken, and tells Xavier she’s lost one of her two children. However, the story doesn’t show a funeral, or even the child’s death or body. It focuses on a mother’s grief and her belief that her child is gone.

The show reveals Dylan is actually alive and goes by the name Link. In episode 7, Geiger calls out to “Dylan,” and Sinatra immediately changes her behavior, questioning him about his birthday. He replies with May 16th, which Hadley later verifies is the key to accessing all of Sinatra’s accounts.

The real mystery isn’t if Dylan is alive, but how a sick boy recovered and ended up living with Miller, a scientist whose groundbreaking technology Dylan’s mother would later resort to desperate measures to obtain.

It’s clear Sinatra realizes who she is by the end of their conversation, but the show hints that Link/Dylan already knew she was his mother all along.

As they stepped onto Air Force One, he joked, “This feels like something out of Star Wars – it’s a final showdown, like Luke versus Vader, with everything on the line. And you, naturally, are playing the Vader role.”

The big twist at the end of The Empire Strikes Back is that Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker’s father, and the show seems to be hinting at a similar connection between Link and his mother. However, it’s still unclear if this Link is the same one we met earlier in the season, or if he’s from another time or even a different universe.
