Despite the impressive crowd, Mr. Charles remained unfazed, acting as if he was the most important and unapproachable person present. It was a striking scene – the city’s most influential people were left speechless as Mr. Charles confidently pushed forward his own agenda, disregarding everyone else’s opinions.

However, Mayor Fisk notably endures criticism and mockery from Mr. Charles with remarkable composure.

Mayor Wilson Fisk May Not Be As In Control As He’d Like

Wilson Fisk doesn’t simply desire power – he strives to become power itself. He’s not only seeking the most influential position in New York City, but has also physically trained himself to be incredibly formidable. His punches are devastatingly strong, and he’s an imposing figure who physically dominates almost everyone he meets.

Fisk always does what Charles asks, no matter how much he resents it. He clearly dislikes Charles’ control, but he never challenges him, accepting that Charles makes the Mayor’s office seem unimportant.

Furthermore, a phone call featuring Mr. Charles and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine hints that he’s a very important person connected to incredibly influential figures. These individuals clearly have the power to control someone like Wilson Fisk. Consequently, in season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, Mayor Fisk is forced to follow the instructions of others.
