Pixar Announces Incredibles 3 At D23

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the announcement of Incredibles 3 has rekindled the child within me. The first film was a game-changer, blending action, humor, and heart in a way that few other movies have managed to do.

As a long-time fan of Pixar movies and superhero stories, I am thrilled to hear that Incredibles 3 is finally in development! Growing up, The Incredibles was one of my favorite films, with its unique blend of humor, action, and heart. I remember watching it over and over again, captivated by the adventures of the Parr family and their extraordinary abilities.

At the culmination of Pixar’s studio presentation, Pete Docter made an announcement without providing additional information. The film’s release date wasn’t mentioned by Docter, but the news was certainly welcomed at the event.

It took Brad Bird 14 years to produce the second film, suggesting that he doesn’t prioritize completing a trilogy quickly. The future of The Incredibles 3 is uncertain as Bird recently signed a deal with Skydance to direct Ray Gunn, an animated sci-fi movie he wrote three decades ago. Given that Ray Gunn is one of Bird’s personal projects, it may take precedence unless Skydance decides not to proceed with its production.

During D23, Pixar announced that Toy Story 5 will be released soon, marking the start of Disney’s evening filled with news. Marvel unveiled a new trailer for Agatha All Along, while those attending D23 got an exclusive sneak peek at trailers for Daredevil: Born Again and Ironheart. The cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps shared a video message, revealing the costume design for Human Torch in the film. Star Wars enthusiasts could enjoy previews for Skeleton Crew and The Mandalorian and Grogu. Avatar 3 was given a title, and Tron: Ares was one of the final presentations on the first night of the event.
