Marvel Debuts Daredevil: Born Again Trailer At D23

As a die-hard fan who’s been through the highs and lows of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Daredevil: Born Again trailer at D23 was nothing short of a triumphant return to form! The gritty, action-packed footage had me grinning ear to ear, reminding me of why I fell in love with Matt Murdock’s dark and twisted tale in the first place.

Mentioning Satan’s name will summon him, it seems. However, Marvel opted to skip Daredevil: Born Again and other upcoming Disney+ series at Comic-Con 2024. But they made amends during D23 as the studio showcased the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. As of now, the footage remains unavailable online. However, based on the sneak peeks, fans who enjoyed the initial Daredevil series are likely to be delighted.

In this new season of Daredevil, it’s clear that Matt Murdock, also known as the Man Without Fear, is causing quite a stir. He’s returned with an unstoppable force, dishing out justice left and right. Characters from the previous series make a comeback, such as Karen, Foggy, and even the notorious Wilson Fisk, the crime lord known as the Kingpin. Unlike before, it seems Fisk is aware that Matt and Daredevil are one and the same, yet he doesn’t shy away from facing him. A scene reminiscent of the movie Heat takes place in a diner between these two formidable adversaries. Interestingly enough, Matt appears to be sporting various Daredevil masks, including one that resembles the yellow mask from She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

In the new footage, Jon Bernthal reappears as Frank Castle/Punisher, but he seems to have forgotten Matt. Since we last saw him in The Punisher Season 2, Frank looks quite disheveled. What makes this trailer even more fascinating is the introduction of White Tiger, another masked vigilante. However, some fans online speculate that he could be Muse, a newer Daredevil antagonist. Given that both characters wear white costumes, it’s challenging to determine who exactly we’re dealing with.

Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Ayelet Zurer, and Wilson Bethel are all set to return for their respective roles in the upcoming series. Titled “Daredevil: Born Again”, this series is slated to debut on Disney+ in March 2025, with production of the second season commencing shortly.

Day one of D23 was packed with exciting moments! Marvel unveiled a sneak peek at the Human Torch’s costume in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. We also got our first look at the trailer for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and Lucasfilm shared some early footage from The Mandalorian and Grogu. On top of that, Pixar announced plans for Toy Story 5! To wrap it all up, Avatar 3 finally revealed its official title.
