BLOCKBUSTER BEHEMOTHS

As a fervent admirer of Indian cinema, I am beyond thrilled about the upcoming collaboration between NTR Jr and Prashanth Neel, aptly titled “NTRNEEL”. The prospect of these two powerhouses joining forces is nothing short of electrifying!

The upcoming movie featuring actor NTR Jr and director Prashanth Neel, known as “NTRNEEL,” has officially set its global release for January 9, 2026. This will be their first joint effort on a film project together.

On a Friday, the production crew assembled for a customary prayer service, which was graced by NTR Jr, Neel, their relatives, and delegates from the film companies NTR Arts and Mythri Movie Makers. This event served as the commencement of the production process.

Movie creators announced via X: “He will cause the ground to shake when he rules! The release date for #NTRNEEL is January 9th, 2026.”

Previously, Neel has been the director of movies such as “K.G.F: Chapter 1” released in 2018 and “K.G.F: Chapter 2” from 2022, both featuring Yash in the lead roles. He is also directing “Salaar,” which stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. NTR Jr collaborated with Ram Charan in S.S. Rajamouli’s critically acclaimed and internationally successful film “RRR” from 2022. “Devara,” a project that brings NTR Jr together once more with his director from “Janatha Garage,” Koratala Siva, is slated for release later this year.

PUNJABI POWERHOUSE

The renowned Punjabi musician AP Dhillon has introduced his latest single titled “Old Money.” This marks the beginning of his collaboration with Republic Records and Universal Music Canada. The song, a fusion of traditional Punjabi beats and cinematic elements, is complemented by a music video that stars Bollywood icons Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.

Dhillon teamed up with Shauna Gautam to create the video for his directorial debut. The storyline in the visuals takes inspiration from 1990s Indian action movies, concluding with a call against violence. The song’s creation is credited to Dhillon’s collaborator Shinda Kahlon, alongside AzizTheShake, Gray Hawken, Luca Mauti, Brendan Thomas, and Madeleine Kay.

Dhillon referred to “Old Money” as marking the beginning of a new phase for him, drawing inspiration from the action films he enjoyed during his childhood.
