Tempest’s knack for taking hits and doling out retribution makes him an indispensable member of any team. In a role as a frontline tank, he shines by safeguarding allies and hampering enemy tactics. Here are some top skills to arm him with as you advance his Rank:

  1. RK1 – Internal Chop, a passive skill that deals Physical DMG to all enemies within 1-tile radius of the character after initiating an Active Attack.
  2. RK3 – Stormrage Strike is a powerful skill that quickly targets distant foes or objects. Tempest charges at a single enemy within a cross-shaped area, inflicting substantial damage. When Windfurry buff is active, that increases ATK, the target is knocked back two tiles.
  3. RK5 – Storm Trample is a reaction triggered when Tempest is about to be hit from the front or side by a melee attack. It deals damage to all nearby enemies within one tile. If Tempest has the White Armor buff, that increases his defense, he also inflicts a debuff on all enemies for one turn. This counterattack can only be used once per round.
  4. RK7 – Will to Survive. This passive skill can be crucial in challenging battles. If Tempest is Dying at the start of his turn, he will recover half his health and two energy points. This ability has a 2-turn cooldown.
  5. RK9 – Charged Attack delivers a powerful blow and boosts the damage output of the next skill.
