The brief response is “not at this time”. Regrettably, it appears that this test is exclusive for Steam users. However, there’s a high likelihood that console gamers will also get a chance to preview the game prior to its official launch as well.

Apart from catering to PC users in this phase, we’re diligently preparing an exceptional gaming experience for console players as well. Future testing stages may expand to accommodate various platforms, thereby enabling gamers across diverse devices to enjoy the game.

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I have learned to be patient when it comes to playtests and game releases. I remember waiting eagerly for the chance to get my hands on new titles, only to be disappointed when console players were left out. However, it seems like things are finally looking up for us! After watching the latest Mecha Break trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, I was pleasantly surprised to see a mention of a beta in August 2024. While there’s still uncertainty about whether PlayStation players will also get an opportunity to test the title at the same time, at least Xbox players might be able to play sooner rather than later. It gives me hope that game developers are finally recognizing the importance of including console gamers in their playtests and not keeping us waiting for months on end. Fingers crossed that this trend continues and we get more opportunities like this one!

Mecha Break – Console (PS4, PS5, Xbox) Release

As a longtime gamer who has spent countless hours playing on various consoles, I can’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment upon hearing that the highly anticipated game Mecha Break will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
