ININ Games and Yu Suzuki just released the first trailer for the updated version of Shenmue III, confirming physical copies will be available for both consoles and PC.
Shenmue III first came out on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2019. Now, an updated version called Shenmue III Enhanced is heading to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the new Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 version will be a complete game on a cartridge, and several physical editions will be available. You can see the box art and details of all the editions in the gallery below.

Okay, gamers, huge news! It’s official – Shenmue III Enhanced is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and even the Nintendo Switch 2! And for all you collectors out there, the Switch 2 version will be a full physical cartridge – yes, you read that right! They also just dropped the new cover art for the standard edition, and you can pre-order it right now. I’m so hyped!
The first trailer for the enhanced game is now available, offering a sneak peek at the gameplay. A Special Edition and a Collector’s Edition are also available for pre-order starting today. The trailer includes a special message from Yu Suzuki to the fans. We’ll share more details, including the official release date, in the weeks ahead.
