ABC has stopped airing Season 22 of The Bachelorette due to a recently surfaced 2023 video. The video shows Taylor Frankie-Paul throwing objects at her former boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, while their daughter was present.
TMZ released a video on March 19th that quickly became popular online. The video, captured by Mortensen, shows Paul hitting him before she starts throwing stools. Her five-year-old daughter was supposedly nearby on the couch during the incident.

ABC pulls The Bachelorette after Taylor Frankie-Paul video goes viral
This news comes after a similar event that happened on the reality TV show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives earlier this week, where Paul also appears.
According to Variety, filming on Season 5 was halted after Paul and Mortensen each accused the other of domestic violence, as reported on March 16th.
I’m hearing that the folks in Draper City are looking into what’s going on, but thankfully, it doesn’t seem like this little hiccup will delay Season 5! That’s a huge relief as a fan.

A representative for Paul has responded to the recently leaked 2023 video, describing it as part of an ongoing, relentless effort to damage Taylor, with no consideration for the impact on their child.
Sharing an old video without important background information, especially on his son’s birthday, is a shameful way to divert attention from his own actions. Fortunately, people are familiar with this kind of behavior and understand his character. Sadly, many will recognize this as a familiar tactic – a pattern of manipulation seen both on the show and in his personal life.
