As an old-school Persona fan who’s been through the labyrinth of Tartarus more times than I care to admit, the latest trailer for Persona 3 Reload has me more excited than a Protag at a Social Link event! The addition of Metis, Aigis’ sister, is a welcome change and I can already picture her adding some much-needed firepower to our team.
Atlus has unveiled a fresh trailer for “Persona 3 Reload,” highlighting Metis, an innovative character set to appear in the upcoming Episode Aigis -The Answer- DLC, which is included in the Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass. In much the same way as she was presented in the original Persona 3 FES game, Metis is depicted as Aigis’ sister who plays a pivotal role in the group’s escapades within the new Abyss of Time dungeon.
In the game, when Metis enters the party in Persona 3 Reload, she’ll utilize a new mechanic called Theurgy, similar to Persona 3’s super moves. This ability becomes active once her Theurgy bar is fully charged.
To obtain Episode Aigis -The Answer-, you’ll need to buy the separate paid expansion pass for Persona 3 Reload, which isn’t included in the regular Digital Deluxe or Digital Premium Editions of the game. However, if you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can get the Expansion Pass for free.
As I write this, Atlus hasn’t yet clarified whether Episode Aigis -The Answer- will be available for individual purchase. However, mark your calendars! Episode Aigis is set to launch on the 10th of September. I can hardly wait!
