VALORANT Launch Party Coming to Shoreditch in London

As a seasoned gamer with decades under my belt and countless hours spent honing my skills across various platforms, the news that VALORANT is now available on consoles has me buzzing with excitement! I’ve been following this game since its inception, and the thought of diving into its immersive world with a controller in hand feels like a dream come true.

VALORANT has been released on consoles across North America, Europe, Japan, and Brazil, and Riot Games is extending an invitation to fans to join them in celebrating the launch with a Launch Party taking place next Wednesday in Shoreditch, London.

As a long-time fan of this particular event organizer, I’m thrilled to share that they have announced another free event! This time, it will kick off at 6 PM and I can reserve my seat through Eventbrite. From past experiences, their events are always well-organized and filled with engaging content, making them a must-attend for anyone interested in the subject matter. So, mark your calendars and make sure to secure your spot before they run out!

“Join us for a console debut celebration of VALORANT! Play VALORORANT on Xbox to enter prize giveaways. Experience great food, music, and mingle with our lively VALORANT community!”

At Mr. Grubworks’ event, there will be meals designed for gaming enthusiasts to enjoy as they play, each dish being inspired by the game’s home country’s characters. Local artists will provide entertainment, with Maisi and Loud LDN performing a mix of songs using her DJ set.

Please note that the event is an 18+-only event, and IDs will be inspected upon entry.

VALORANT is out now on Xbox Series X and PS5

For the very first time, Riot Games has launched a live-service game called VALORANT, which is accessible on gaming consoles. Over the recent weekend, this multiplayer, team-based first-person shooter became playable for gamers located in North America, Europe, Japan, and Brazil, allowing them to enjoy it on their preferred console.

To engage in online play, it’s essential that players possess an Xbox account or a PlayStation account. Following this, if they don’t already have a Riot Games account, they’ll need to sign up for one or link their existing accounts. This action enables them to synchronize their accounts across PC and consoles. Notably, cross-play and cross-progression will be supported, and updates will go live concurrently on all platforms.

“Riot Games’ Production Director of VALORANT, Arnar Gylfason, shares that the team has gained a wealth of useful insights from players during the Limited Beta testing. He is optimistic that they can fulfill their gameplay commitment to console gamers.”

“Regardless if it’s nailing the ideal move, coordinating seamless group actions, or dominating opponents just like VALORANT PC gamers do, we can’t wait for console users to feel the excitement of such gaming moments.”

Just like VALORANT, Riot Games’ upcoming title, the console-compatible fighting game known as 2XKO (or colloquially, Double KO), is set to hit the shelves a year from now in 2025, not just for PC users but also console enthusiasts.
