Here, you’ll find a list of the top 10 most costly Bloombury cards, along with reasons for their high prices, and the price of each card:
Top 10 Most Expensive Bloomburrow MTG Cards (As of August 3, 2024)
The collection at Bloomburrow typically offers a small return, so it’s generally unwise to invest for financial gain. However, many enthusiasts would still be eagerly opening packs due to the excitement they provide. You might have obtained your packs from pre-release events, drafts, sealed decks, or other special occasions. Since these events are limited, not every card you get will be suitable for your deck.
Having been a dedicated Magic: The Gathering player for over two decades, I can confidently say that opening high-priced cards is always thrilling, even if you don’t immediately realize it. In my experience, skipping Ripple Foil cards found exclusively in Collector’s Booster Packs is a wise move, as they tend to be the most expensive cards in the set without any prior inspection. If you manage to get one, consider yourself lucky because you’ve essentially recouped your investment. For the rest of the set, here are some of the most valuable cards you should keep an eye out for.

1. Three Tree City (Borderless) – $35.62
As a dedicated fan, I’ve got to say, the various Borderless editions of Three Tree City are quite the prized possessions in this game set. Regardless if you’re playing in Standard, Modern, or Commander, lands that interact with creature types are always cards worth chasing after. And Three Tree City is precisely one of those. It’s a land that can effortlessly help you overwhelm opponents with an abundance of mana and creatures, making it clear why it sits at the top of our wish list.
In Bloomburrow, you’ll find Four Seasonal Versions of Three Tree City. The priciest Winter Edition sells for $35 on the secondary market, while the Summer Version is the least costly at $27. We grouped these together as a single entry not only because they function identically as a card, but also because they are the four most expensive editions available.
2. Three Tree City – $19.56
Among all cards in the collection, the one that ranks second in terms of cost is undeniably the standard-bordered Three Tree City card. This high value is a testament to both players and collectors’ admiration for this particular card. Even though it’s likely to be widely used on many gaming tables, we don’t foresee it becoming as overpowered as some cards from the last set did (such as Nadu). Consequently, despite its widespread appeal, its price doesn’t currently reflect astronomical values.
3. Lumra, Bellow of the Woods (Borderless) – $18.38
Green has traditionally been the stomping color, providing an advantage in accessing mana earlier than opponents by ramping up land resources. This additional mana is then utilized to summon massive cards with immense power and toughness statistics, often resulting in a dominating position. However, as always, Bloomburry finds ways to introduce power increases.
The creature called “Lumra, Bellow of the Woods” costs six mana, a sum easily reached by green decks that focus on increasing their mana quickly. Its power and toughness match the number of lands its controller has, a common trait in green creatures. Additionally, it possesses Vigilance and Reach, not an uncommon feature. However, beware when this creature is summoned, as it has the ability to significantly shift the balance of the game.
When Lumra is put onto the battlefield, the player controlling it has to discard four cards from their deck and re-summon all land cards from their graveyard, but with them tapped. If no extra power or defense is gained for Lumra from this action, consider a situation towards the end of the game where you’ve been forced to get rid of lands or had some destroyed. In such cases, Lumra effortlessly compensates for those losses.
Using Delighted Halfling and Cavern of Souls can help protect Lumra from being easily targeted by counterspells, allowing for its successful entry onto the battlefield.
4. Bria, Riptide Rogue – $18.20
Skillful play has always been an enjoyable aspect of Magic: The Gathering. Across various game formats, prowess is generally well-supported, and new cards featuring prowess are likely to be highly valued by both players and collectors. Bria, Riptide Rogue offers additional benefits since it grants prowess to other creatures the player controls, effectively enabling players to enhance their entire force using cantrips.
Beyond that, let me tell you about Bria, Riptide Rogue – it grants evasion to creatures too. In scenarios where your opponent uses non-creature spells to boost their creatures, removal spells to clear blockers, and makes the rest of their attackers impossible to block, Bria, Riptide Rogue proves invaluable. Given its effectiveness as a Commander, it’s no surprise that its price has risen significantly.
5. Maha, Its Feathers Night (Borderless) – $16.32
Upon initial observation, Maha might not appear to be a significant danger due to its stats and cost. It has Flying and Trample abilities at a five-mana price, which may seem underwhelming. However, it also possesses a Ward for protection. Furthermore, as long as Maha, Its Featherless Night is in play, opponents’ creatures will have a base toughness of 1.
Maha complements cards that excel at destroying boards with damage. Combine Maha with cards such as Kaervek, the Malicious, Massacre Girl, and Syr Konrad, the Grim, and you’ll find it simple to clear the board and inflict damage on your opponents.
6. Innkeeper’s Talent – $14.24
In most cases, enchantment cards like ‘Innkeeper’s Talent’ are not found in such lists due to their rarity. However, this Rare card has the ability to balance scales and tempo effectively, making it a pleasant surprise for some players. Furthermore, its function as a mana sink allows players to manage their resources more efficiently while maintaining flexibility.
Upon hitting the battlefield, Innkeeper’s Talent immediately contributes, especially when played during the initial main phase. To boost its power, you only need 1 green mana to level it up. Any creature you decide to enhance with this card’s trigger will always possess a shield of 1. While its ultimate level isn’t crucial for winning games, it can still significantly influence game outcomes. It’s essentially an additional advantage rather than a game-changer.
7. Maha, Its Feathers Night – $11.54
In this list, Maha’s card, Night of Many Feathers, appears twice, demonstrating its increased value compared to other cards in the eyes of players. Nowadays, merely possessing a borderless frame is not enough to command a high price tag. This can be either beneficial or detrimental, depending on whether you are a buyer or a seller.
8. Lumra, Bellow of the Woods (Borderless) – $10.96
As a long-time Magic: The Gathering enthusiast, I’ve come to appreciate the nuances between different Borderless cards, and it’s clear that some weigh more than others, especially when it comes to Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. Having collected various versions of this card over the years, I can attest to the fact that multiple Borderless versions within the same set do indeed exist. This duality only serves to underscore the high regard in which Lumra, Bellow of the Woods is held by players and collectors alike. On one hand, Ygra’s formidable 6/6 strength and durability make her a formidable ally. However, she can also turn into a predator when desired, treating all other battlefield creatures as potential meals – regardless of whether they’re friends or foes.
Ygra expands swiftly too. Be it by expending Food Tokens or other entities, or when those entities perish from any cause, Ygra increases in size and strength by two points for both power and durability on every occasion, thus growing at an impressive pace.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement about the unique qualities of “Her Ward”. When you unleash two successive lightning bolts upon this feline, its power level escalates to an intimidating 10/10, with each strike dealing a formidable 6 points of damage. This transformation not only beefs up its health but also amplifies its aggressive nature, turning it into a more formidable, enraged tiger – a sight that’s both awe-inspiring and terrifying at the same time!
10. Ygra, Eater of All – $10.15
Ygra appears as the last card on this list and appears for the second time in this list. Ygra is a cool cat, is all I could say.
As a passionate collector, I find Bloomburrow’s meticulously crafted thematic deck truly resonates with me on an emotional level. The anticipation of unwrapping each pack, revealing cards designed with care, only serves to intensify the joy and satisfaction these high-value cards bring.
