Trash Day is a new cooperative game where you and up to three friends play as raccoons. Your goal? To rummage through trash and haul your findings back to your home!
The new game from Off by One Games—created by developers who previously worked on Rocket League—is a physics-based adventure like Humans Fall Flat or RV There Yet, but with a charming twist: you play as a cute raccoon scavenging for trash.
The game is about teaming up with friends to collect as much ‘sweet garbage’ as you can and load it onto your trolley. The tricky part is carefully driving the loaded trolley back home, dodging all sorts of obstacles along the way.

From the announcement trailer and screenshots released so far on its Steam page, there are rickety old bridges, construction sites, and even busy roads to contend with. One wrong move and your trolley and your hard-earned trash will be sent flying.
Physics can be surprisingly useful in many situations, even if it doesn’t always seem obvious. You might use it to climb a cliff with a harness, launch a trolley over a gap using gravity, or carefully position boards to cross a tricky space.
Yes, you’ll likely experience frustrating moments where you crash the trolley and create a mess. However, that’s actually what makes these games fun.
You can also customize your pets with lots of fun cosmetics, like headphones or even a special look that makes them resemble a red panda.
While there’s no specific release date yet, the game Trash Day is planned to launch in 2026. You can add it to your Steam wishlist now, but it’s currently unknown if it will be available on consoles in the future.
