Murder Mystery Series ‘Dreamcrusher’ Will Send Viewers on a Real-Life Hunt for Clues — and a $100,000 Prize (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned film enthusiast with a penchant for the unconventional and a soft spot for innovative storytelling, I find myself utterly intrigued by this new venture, “Dreamcrusher.” The prospect of an interactive murder mystery series that not only engages viewers but also offers a substantial cash prize is a refreshing twist in the genre.

A groundbreaking, fresh murder mystery show is set to engage viewers by inviting them to search for hidden clues outside the screen, with the opportunity to win an impressive $100,000 reward.

Instead of other series in its genre, “Dreamcrusher,” the original scripted program from free streaming platform Reveel, could motivate viewers to unravel the mystery before the final reveal. By doing so, one fortunate spectator stands a chance to win a substantial prize by matching clues embedded within each episode with additional real-world clues to “unmask the true Dreamcrusher.” In this way, Reveel aims to pioneer the “reward” category of entertainment.

According to Per Reveel, “Dreamcrusher” tells the tale of pop singer Gwyn who is discovered dead on the morning that was meant to catapult her into superstardom. As they investigate her murder, detectives go back over her steps from a celebratory concert in her hometown the night before.

As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been chosen as the showrunner for the intriguing series “Dreamcrusher.” This project has been jointly developed with William Cheverie and producer Christopher Splaine. The seven-episode production will be filmed in three exciting locations: Los Angeles, Worcester, Massachusetts, and Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I can’t wait to bring this story to life on the silver screen!

As a cinephile, I’m excited to share that the original music for this series will be composed by the Emmy-nominated songwriter and producer Bleu, who has worked magic on projects like Demi Lovato’s and Selena Gomez’s. Joining forces with her is Brooke Tomlinson, known for collaborations with Dixie D’Amelio. Together, they promise to create a musical journey that will enrich our viewing experience.

As a devotee, I’m excited to share that Booth, who’s renowned for pushing boundaries with his storytelling, is diving into uncharted territories again. With hits like “Fifteen,” the pioneering livestream film, and “Last Call,” a single-take split-screen feature, he now embarks on a new adventure – “Dreamcrusher.” As he shared in an interview with EbMaster, this project is an exciting evolution of his ambition to produce distinctive entertainment. The intrigue doesn’t stop at a narrative series; it expands across various media platforms via social media and other formats. Plus, the added twist: it’s not just about solving mysteries, but also winning a grand prize!

Booth will pen and oversee the direction of all seven episodes, set to be streamed on Reveel. This service is accessible via iOS and Android devices, as well as on Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV.

Booth is represented by Maritza Cabrera at Limitless Management.
