Viral 13-year-old Jamaican beef patties streamer is thriving on YouTube after Twitch ban

Cdee2Neat, a Twitch streamer who recently gained attention for being banned after receiving gifted subscriptions, is now finding success on YouTube.

It’s common for streamers to move between platforms and continue to thrive. Many have left Twitch for YouTube or Kick to get better deals, while others have switched after facing bans on their previous platform.

Twitch streamer Cdee2Neat received a ban after a clip of him saying he would use money from gifted subscriptions to buy Jamaican beef patties went viral. Ironically, Twitch had gifted him 50 subscriptions during the same stream.

Cdee2Neat explained that his account was suspended because he’s only 13 years old, as he shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Cdee2Neat has big YouTube following already

Although the streamer’s Twitch account remains suspended, he’s now using YouTube and has quickly gained a much larger audience there.

I’m seriously impressed with how quickly Cdee2Neat is growing! As of March 5th, he’s already hit over 22,000 subscribers on his new platform – that’s more than 20 times the audience he had on Twitch before he got banned. It’s awesome to see so many people supporting him with both channel memberships and direct donations too!

His streams usually last about an hour, but some have attracted over 1,000 viewers at the same time. This has led many people to wonder if Twitch will ever lift his ban.

Now that he’s 13, he can create a Twitch account, but only if his parent or guardian gives him permission.

Twitch’s rules, set by its owner Amazon, state that if Cdee2Neat has mentioned being under 13 on the platform, his account could be permanently banned.

Trying to bypass a ban by creating a new account is also against Twitch’s rules and can lead to another ban. It remains to be seen whether Twitch will reinstate his account soon.

As it stands, though, he is going solidly on YouTube.
