‘Ghosts’ Season 4 Casts Dean Norris, Mary Holland

As a passionate movie lover who has followed the careers of many talented actors, I’m thrilled to learn that Dean Norris and Mary Holland are joining the cast of “Ghosts” for its fourth season. Their additions to this quirky and intriguing series are sure to bring new depth and complexity to the storyline.

“Ghosts” is adding two new cast members ahead of its fourth season.

At San Diego Comic-Con’s show panel, they announced that Dean Norris will make an appearance in Season 4 as Samantha’s father. Furthermore, Mary Holland is set to reoccur in the role of Patience, the startlingly resurfaced Puritan ghost from the Woodstone mansion’s Season 3 finale who took Isaac captive.

Frank, who is known for his kind and good-natured demeanor, makes a long-awaited return to Woodstone with his latest companion. Although Frank and Sam put on a friendly facade, underlying feelings of resentment simmer within Sam due to her father’s absence during her childhood. After years of maintaining that “everything was fine,” an unexpected encounter at Woodstone pushes Sam to address these unresolved emotions towards her father.

Patience is the ghost of a Puritan woman who died in the late 1600s. Per the character description, “While alive, she was exceedingly severe and judgmental even by Puritan standards. As such, she was expelled from her village for ‘being a bit too much.’ After being dead a couple hundred years, Patience was inadvertently abandoned by Revolutionary War ghost Isaac underground near the mansion and has become a feral creature ‘roaming the dirt’ since 1895.”

Norris is most recognized for portraying Hank Schroeder in the critically acclaimed AMC show “Breaking Bad.” He was a consistent cast member across all five seasons, and later reappeared as Hank in the spin-off series “Better Call Saul.” Lately, Norris has been featured in other projects like “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” “Unfrosted,” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

He is repped by Innovative Artists and Constellation Media Group.

Previously, Holland has acted in humorous films such as “Nightbitch,” “Between Two Ferns: The Movie,” and “Senior Year.” On television, she has made appearances on various programs including “The Big Door Prize,” “Star Trek: Lower Decks,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “New Girl,” “The Good Place,” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

She is repped by CAA, Atlas Artists, and Ziffren Brittenham.

The fourth season of “Ghosts” is set to premiere on CBS on October 17th at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. The show’s cast includes Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky, and Devan Chandler Long.

The American adaptation of the hit British show “Ghosts” was created by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, who also act as its executive producers. Moreover, Richie Keen, Matthew Baynton, Jim Howick, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond, Martha Howe-Douglas, Alison Carpenter, Debra Hayward, and Alison Owen from Monumental Television, as well as Angie Stephenson from BBC Studios, are also executive producers. “Ghosts” is a joint production between CBS Studios, Lionsgate Television, and BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.
