TikTok responds as users report app glitches & outage

TikTok acknowledged reports of many users in the United States experiencing problems with the app, and confirmed these issues are connected to a problem at an Oracle data center.

On March 3rd, TikTok announced that technical issues were causing problems for some users in the U.S. This came after creators noticed delays when uploading videos and occasional errors while using the app.

The company said the issue was tied to Oracle and that work was underway to restore normal service.

They said they’re on it and trying to fix everything as fast as possible.

Oracle reported that some cloud customers were experiencing issues, including slower response times and difficulty connecting to services.
