Another Day-One Game Is Coming Soon To Xbox Game Pass

As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I’m thrilled to learn that Core Keeper will be available day-one on Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox Series X|S console. Having followed this game since its Early Access days, I can’t wait to explore its vast, procedurally generated worlds filled with mining, base-building, crafting, farming, fishing, and epic boss battles against Titans.

Another option: Beginning August 27, Core Keeper by developer Pugstorm becomes accessible as an included title for new subscribers of Xbox Game Pass. This mining sandbox adventure game will be playable on both Xbox Series X|S and PC through the subscription service.

I’m thrilled to share that Xbox Wire announced some exciting news about the next title joining Game Pass! It’s called Core Keeper, and I can’t wait to explore it either on my own or with up to seven friends in online cooperative mode. This game offers an immersive experience with elements like base-building, crafting, farming, fishing, and battling formidable creatures known as Titans.

Core Keeper has been available on Steam in its early access form for about two years. The upcoming 1.0 release, which includes customizable world generation and a new biome, will not just hit Steam but also PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. This version is expected to launch on these platforms next month. It’s important to note that Xbox Game Pass currently only guarantees the Xbox Series X|S edition for console users, with no confirmation for the Xbox One edition at this time.

Yesterday, I was thrilled to find out that Microsoft added Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III to Xbox Game Pass. This is the first time this popular first-person shooter franchise has graced the service. It’s been an exciting month for Game Pass subscribers as five other games – Flock and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn among them – were also recently added in July.

As a long-time subscriber of Xbox Game Pass, I’ve enjoyed the convenience and value it brings to my gaming lifestyle. However, this month has brought some changes that have left me feeling a bit uneasy. Microsoft has not only raised the price of the service but also introduced a new tier called Xbox Game Pass Standard.
