As a long-time fan of Bob Dylan and his music, I was both excited and apprehensive when I first heard about the upcoming biographical drama “A Complete Unknown.” The trailer, featuring Timothée Chalamet’s portrayal of the legendary singer-songwriter, immediately grabbed my attention. The way Chalamet sang “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” in the trailer was chilling and authentic, bringing back memories of countless late nights spent listening to Dylan’s albums.
After unveiling the first trailer for “A Complete Unknown,” Oscar predictors can almost imagine their whispers during this year’s Academy Awards. Directed by James Mangold and featuring Timothée Chalamet as renowned musician Bob Dylan, this biographical drama is based on Elijah Wald’s 2015 book “Dylan Goes Electric!” The film explores the uproar generated when Dylan adopted electrically amplified rock music, a decision that infuriated numerous folk purists.
As a huge fan of both Bob Dylan and biopics, I’m absolutely thrilled by the first look we’ve been given into Timothée Chalamet’s portrayal of the legendary singer in the upcoming film. His rendition of “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” left me speechless, not just because of his spot-on delivery but also due to my deep connection with Dylan’s music.
The movie titled “A Complete Unknown” is scheduled for release in December. You can watch the trailer below and share if you plan on watching it or not.
