Furthermore, they formed partnerships with Japanese fans dedicated to creating modifications for “Cities: Skylines,” leading to a substantial increase in the generation of new visual assets.
As the team expanded, so did the goals for the project. At first, they aimed to build a 1/19 scaled replica of Japan. But this method proved insufficient for accurately depicting the intricate road system. Thus, the developers chose to start anew and create a more detailed map at a 1/9 scale for the mod’s impressive 1.0 release.
In the latest update 1.0.1.1 of Project Japan, the game leaves us utterly amazed. The map has grown significantly larger and boasts exceptional detail. Numerous improvements have been made to elements like buildings, cars, and road signs.
