New Silent Hill 2 Merch Is Here, But Only For A Week

As a long-time Silent Hill fan with countless hours spent exploring its eerie worlds and unraveling its intricate narratives, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming release of Silent Hill 2‘s remake. And to make this experience even more special, Konami has just announced an exclusive merchandise line inspired by the classic game!

Later this year, the remake of Silent Hill 2 will be released, and to mark the occasion, Konami is introducing a limited-edition merchandise line for Silent Hill fans. This special collection, created by Graveyard Goods, will only be available for purchase for one week, starting today. The merchandise range goes beyond clothing such as shirts and shorts, extending to a skateboard and cap. Each design in the collection boasts an exclusive colorway that can only be found at the Official Konami Shop.

As a passionate gamer, I can tell you that these gaming-inspired clothes truly stand out. Each shirt boasts an intricate maximalist design exclusive to Silent Hill 2, filled with recognizable characters and scenes straight from the game. For shorts, there’s an Angela Orosco design taken from the original cover art, accompanied by the game logo and a cool Pyramid Head graphic. The graphics on these clothes are not derived from Bloober Team’s upcoming remake, but rather, they retain their authentic Silent Hill 2 charm.

From July 23rd to July 30th at 10 AM PST on Konami’s website, you can pre-order the merchandise line-up. The majority of items will be shipped approximately a month after sales end. However, be quick if you want the Maria skateboard as there are only 200 units available. All the merchandise in this collection is either newly released or were previously sold exclusively in June.

Fans can now purchase the latest merchandise collection in preparation for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake release. The collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team is scheduled to debut on October 8, 2024, for both PlayStation and PC (Steam). Excitement reached a peak when developers officially announced the long-awaited launch date during their 13-minute gameplay trailer in June. Fans have been eagerly discussing their admiration – or strong opposition – towards the new designs of Angela, Maria, and James models ever since.
