Sequel to Acclaimed Post-Apocalyptic City Builder Gets Release Date. Unfortunately, Players Will Lose Opportunity to Check out Endzone 2 for Free

As a huge fan of the strategy genre and someone who has spent countless hours building and managing virtual cities in various games, I am beyond excited about the upcoming early access release of Endzone 2! The first part of the series, Endzone: A World Apart, was an instant hit for me. With its engaging gameplay mechanics, immersive post-apocalyptic setting, and positive reception from the community, it quickly became one of my favorite city builders.


The long-awaited sequel to Gentlymad Studio’s critically acclaimed strategy game, Endzone 2 with its post-apocalyptic setting, is now set for early access release on Steam starting August 26, 2024. Simultaneously, the developers have shared that the demo version of the game will be taken down from Valve’s platform soon.

As a long-time fan of strategic games, I’m always on the lookout for new titles that offer unique gameplay experiences. Recently, I came across Endzone 2, and I was intrigued by the descriptions I read about its innovative features. To get a better sense of how the gameplay unfolds in action, I decided to try out the demo version available on Steam.

Feedback from players who tried the demo of “Endzone 2” was abundant regarding its gameplay. Their insights significantly contributed to the developers’ efforts in making several corrections. You can now review these updates in the most recent communication. Some of the enhancements include revamped animations, an overhauled exploration mechanism, and a refined health system.

For now, we haven’t learned the price to be paid for the early access version of Enzone 2.

In the second part of Enzone, set after the events of the first installment, explorers venture into uncharted lands called the Wastelands. Our goal is to discover and cultivate these areas, allowing humanity to recover and regain strength following a worldwide disaster.

To begin with, the initial installment of the series, “Endzone: A World Apart,” came out in the year 2021. This game has garnered numerous favorable evaluations from Steam users. In fact, over 9,000 reviews have been submitted for this city-building game, with approximately 77% expressing admiration for the strategy devised by Gentlymad Studios.
