The best part? You only need one person to buy it – then a friend can join and play with you for free! It’s an incredibly moving story, and I can’t wait to experience it with someone.
Split Fiction Combines Sci-fi and Fantasy for an Awesome Experience
Split Fiction is a co-op game that blends the sci-fi and fantasy genres in a fresh way. Similar to games like A Way Out and It Takes Two, it’s designed for two players working together. You’ll play as either Mio or Zoe, two writers who find themselves inside the virtual worlds created from their stories. Each character offers a unique experience as you switch between different sci-fi and fantasy settings with their own special gameplay features.
The teamwork in this game is excellent, with each character having a unique job and the skills to do it well. For instance, Mio excels in close combat with an energy katana and can even manipulate gravity in certain areas, while Zoe specializes in long-range attacks using a gravity whip and can also move objects around. The premise is clever: they’re magically turned into dolls and need to cooperate to overcome challenges and return to their human forms. This forces the constantly arguing couple to work together, which is central to the game’s narrative.
