As a huge fan of Hollow Knight, I’m really excited about Silksong, and it seems like they’re leaning even more into RPG elements this time around – especially with this new wish system. Honestly, that means we’ll probably run into some quests that feel a little grindy, but I’m okay with that! I’ve been checking out the Delivery quests you unlock by helping those two couriers, Tipp and Pill, and wow, they can be seriously challenging and satisfying. It’s a love-hate relationship, but I’m totally hooked!
The path to each goal is tough, with dangerous enemies along the way, so it’s best to learn lots of powerful skills and movement techniques before tackling the hardest challenges. Luckily, each quest tells you roughly how difficult it will be, letting you start with easier ones to get comfortable with Hornet’s speed and learn her limits without risking your supplies.
Every Reward For Silksong’s Delivery Quests
At first, the many new quests seem great, but most of the delivery quests from Tipp and Pill aren’t true wishes. They’re mostly just a different way to earn Rosaries without fighting. You can repeat these quests as much as you like to make a little extra money, but it’s not the fastest way to get Rosaries.
| Delivery Quest | Reward | Repeatable |
| Bone Bottom Supplies | 80 Rosaries | Yes |
| Pilgrim’s Rest Supplies | 180 Rosaries | Yes |
| Songclave Supplies | 360 Rosaries | Yes |
| Courier’s Rasher | Courier’s Rasher Ingredient | No |
| Queen’s Egg | Expanded Silkeater Farm, 120 Rosaries | No |
While farmable quests can be repeated, the couriers offer unique missions that are harder to complete but give much better rewards.
You unlock the first of two quests simply by making any delivery. This will trigger a request to deliver a Queen Silkeater grub egg to Styx, located at the end of the Sinner’s Road. Completing this “Queen’s Egg” quest earns you 120 Rosaries and permanently improves your Silkeater farm, giving you twice as many eggs each time you visit Hornet’s friend.
The final task for these adventurers connects to the “Great Taste of Pharloom” quest. You need to quickly deliver delicate ingredients to Loyal Mergwin at the Citadel. Completing this will unlock the next step towards getting Hornet’s second nail upgrade.
Best Methods For Completing Silksong’s Delivery Quests
Delivery quests seem simple at first, but they add extra challenges on top of the existing need to revisit areas. The toughest limitation prevents you from using fast travel, and introduces a fragile item that loses durability whenever you take damage, fall, or bump into obstacles. This means you’ll have to carefully navigate the world to keep the item from breaking.
Unlike the quick, one-hit delivery quests in Hollow Knight, Silksong allows for more errors, but you can’t simply defeat enemies beforehand to make things easier. For most quests—except “Courier’s Rasher”—the best strategy is to use your most reliable skills and focus on avoiding combat altogether.
The “Courier’s Rasher” delivery is particularly challenging, and I strongly suggest waiting until you’ve unlocked both the Clawline and Feydown Cloak abilities before trying it. Because of the tight time limit, completing this delivery requires a balance of speed and careful movement, which is best achieved with Hornet’s most advanced abilities.
If you’re preparing for the harder quests in Silksong, having the right items can be a huge help. Besides the movement abilities we already talked about, the Flea Brew and Silkspeed Anklets are great for making Hornet faster, and the compass is a must-have for tracking your progress on each quest.
For challenging deliveries, I suggest using the Wanderer’s Crest if you can afford it – it makes bouncing downwards much more reliable for dodging enemies and obstacles. And if you have room in your inventory after the Flea Brew, ranged weapons like the Curveclaw are really helpful for dealing with those pesky flying enemies and avoiding damage.
Best Route For Every Delivery Quest

Standard supply delivery quests are pretty straightforward. For deliveries to Bone Bottom and Pilgrim’s Rest, definitely use the Drifter’s cloak to sneak past enemies. Stick to the edges of the map or use the jet streams, and adjust your path as needed to stay hidden.
Completing the Sinner’s Road delivery can be challenging if you’re unfamiliar with the area. However, you can mostly avoid the Muckmaggots by being stealthy. Stick to the paths where they aren’t present, and quickly move between areas to make the flying enemies disappear. This should make the journey to Styx much easier.
Like the other routes, the Choral Chambers is long and you have limited time, so it’s really important to learn the layout before trying “Courier’s Rasher.” I strongly suggest practicing the route several times without the delivery first. This will help you master the harder parts of the Hollow Knight: Silksong map, saving you time and frustration later on.
