New Visions of Mana screenshots detail Aesh, more Elemental Vessels, and Elemental Plots

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but be intrigued by the latest addition to the Mana series, Visions of Mana. The game’s unique mechanics and captivating storyline have already drawn me in, but it’s the depth of character development that truly sets this game apart.

Square Enix has shared fresh images and updates on “Visions of Mana,” introducing new character Aesh, along with details about Gnome, Lumina, and Shade Elemental Vessels. Additionally, information was given regarding Elemental Quests, elementite, golden clovers, and the Li’l Cactus.

The role-playing game “Visions of Mana” is scheduled to drop on August 29 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. For those who haven’t kept up, here’s a look at the release date trailer and some sneak peek screenshots.

Character: Aesh
Aesh, hailing from the Log’grattzo Dark Archives, is unyielding in quenching his insatiable thirst for knowledge.
Aesh’s interests span a great deal and cover many fields, impressing his colleagues so much that they bestowed upon him the role of chief curator at a relatively young age.
Elemental Vessels
Elemental Containers are magical objects where the force of the elements is kept. In each container, there’s a distinct type of mana. Our champions can draw upon these elemental abilities during battles and adventures.
An additional feature is that giving a character a vessel results in a change of class. Each class offers distinct statistics, available weapon types, and exclusive elemental moves or skills.
Here’s a look at three of the vessels you’ll be able to use in the game – and their effects!
Vessel of Earth: Gnome Shovel
Gnome is the being connected to the earth’s elements. He has the power to manipulate objects originating from beneath the ground.

During your adventures, you come across mighty clay golems which you have the ability to control. These golems can be utilized to smash through obstinate rock walls, paving the way for your advancement.
With the Gnome Shovel as your weapon in combat, you can safeguard your team by generating a protective stone barrier, lessening the harm inflicted on them by adversary assaults.

If I were given this ship and its weapons, I’d transform into a Weapon Master like Val. As for Julei, she’d embody the role of a Hunter, while Morley would master the art of being a Ninja.
Vessel of Light: Lumina Lantern
Lumina is the elemental of light. His elemental vessel can harness the power of reflections.

Directing the Lumina Lantern’s beam toward reflective mirrors can help you cast light into concealed regions, providing illumination as you navigate through the field.
During combat, this elemental flask enables you to connect adversaries with beams of light, causing harm inflicted on one enemy to bounce back and affect another.

Using the container of light’s essential power, you can transform Val into a Paladin, Morley into a Sovereign, and Palamena into an Archmage.
Vessel of Darkness: Shade Sight
Shade is the elemental of darkness. His elemental vessel can harness the power of gravity.

With a vessel, you can maneuver closer to objects that are out of reach for jumping or dashing.
In a fight, draw nearer to smaller adversaries to bring them closer, or use your weapon as a pendulum to approach larger opponents and rejoin the action.

Using Shade Sight, Val has the ability to choose the Berserker class, while Julei selects the Necromancer class, and Careena picks the Maverick class.
Elemental Plots
Elemental plots are unlocked whenever a new vessel is obtained.
As a character advances in the storyline connected to an element, their connection to that element becomes stronger, granting them access to potent techniques and skills.
To advance along the plot you need elemental points. There are two main methods to obtain these:
Elementite
Elementite are large glowing crystals found across the land.
Elementite can be found in areas all around the world, so search it out to earn elemental points.
Gold Clover
These shining gold clovers are found scattered across the land.
They can be used to enhance Elemental Plots – exchange on Gold Clover for one elemental point.
In this role-playing game, certain objects can help deepen each character’s storyline related to their elements, enhancing their abilities with more potent skills and attacks. Fully developing a character’s connection to an element results in bestowing the blessings of that specific element onto their initial class.
As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I’ve come across various character classes, each with their unique abilities and weapons. Val, a character I once played, was initially equipped with a nimble little sword for close-range combat. However, what set Val apart from others was the potential to learn and wield mighty great swords and lances. The thrill of discovering this hidden talent was exhilarating! It added an extra layer of excitement to Val’s journey in the game world, making each battle a new adventure. This versatility made Val a formidable opponent, leaving a lasting impression on me as a player.
In simpler terms, you can give a character from the elemental story the ability from another class at the beginning.
As the starter class learns to equip more weapons, the more options it has for class strikes.
