NMS Worlds Part I on Xbox and Switch - When Can it Be Expected?

As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that No Man’s Sky is one of the most captivating games currently available to us. The recent update, Worlds Part I, has brought about significant improvements such as extended types of worlds and enhanced wind and water effects. However, not everyone is able to reap the benefits of these new features just yet.

No Man’s Sky stands out as an exceptional ongoing game with frequent updates, such as new expeditions. The latest edition even brings about a significant graphic improvement. However, not all players can access this enhancement just yet. In the following text, we will provide information on when to anticipate the release of Worlds Part I for Xbox and Nintendo Switch users.

When You can Expect NMS Worlds Part I on Xbox and Switch?

Yesterday, Hello Games unveiled a significant update, named Worlds Part I (Version 5.0), for “No Man’s Sky.” This update introduces expanded features for certain types of worlds and enhanced wind and water effects. Currently, these innovations are exclusive to PC, PlayStation 4, and PS5 users.

As a long-time gamer who has owned consoles from both Xbox and Nintendo Switch, I can confidently say that we, the community of patients and eager players, are accustomed to the sometimes lengthy wait for updates on these platforms. Based on my personal experience and observing the trends in the past, I believe that this delay is largely due to the patch certification process.

  1. Although there have been exceptions, on Xbox updates appears quite fast. Usually it’s a few days of delay. So, probably we will see Worlds Part I on this platform in a week.
  2. Nintendo Switch has the longest waiting time. Usually updates were released after an Xbox version. If you’re playing on this console you can wait even two weeks.

Based on my own experiences with software development projects and understanding that announcements of exact release dates can be subject to change, I strongly believe that speculations about upcoming releases should be taken with a grain of salt. My advice would be to exercise patience and keep an open mind. From my perspective, the anticipation leading up to an announcement or launch can sometimes be more exciting than the actual event itself. Trust me, I’ve been in your shoes before, eagerly waiting for a new update or feature, only to have plans shift unexpectedly. So take heart and prepare yourself for the possibility of some delays or adjustments along the way.
