As a dedicated fan of the Avatar franchise and an avid gamer, I am beyond excited for the release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and its subsequent DLCs! The confirmation that the Season Pass comes with bonus content, including new story quests and expansions, has me counting down the days until I can embark on this Na’vi journey once again.
Before the worldwide launch of Ubisoft’s action-adventure game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the company announced that the Gold and Ultimate versions of the game come with a Season Pass. This additional content includes a bonus quest for the main storyline and two expansion packs. The first expansion is now available to players.
After the finale of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s main story, the Sky Breaker DLC introduces a new challenge. As Na’vi clans celebrate an important festival, they are suddenly threatened by an ominous shadow. Players must act swiftly to defend their allies and save them from harm as they venture to a fresh destination, named the Heart of the Plains. Along the way, they will encounter the RDA once more, who bring with them the formidable AMP Defender – a new type of adversary for this DLC.
With the release of the Sky Breaker DLC, players can look forward to fresh side missions, an abundance of new in-game experiences, and diverse biomes and landscapes to discover. Regarding activities, the DLC introduces time-bound challenges as part of a grand “festival of games.” Additionally, for those who have reached crafting mastery, the Legendary rarity is now accessible.
For those who haven’t tried Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora yet, a complimentary trial period is open to you from 16th to 28th July 2024, exclusively for console users. During this time, you’re free to roam the Western Frontier and progress through the main questline up until finding the Hometree or logging a minimum of five hours of gameplay with no cost involved.
In the autumn of 2024, the second expansion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora titled “Secrets of the Spires” is planned to be released. The specific date is yet to be announced before its launch. Similar to “The Sky Breaker,” this expansion will exclusively be accessible for those who own the game’s Season Pass, which can be purchased on both console and PC platforms.
